Hotel Verneuil

There was a bug on my bed that looked a lot like bed bug, and i reported this to the hotel staff, other than verbally telling me that they don’t have bed bugs the hotel didn’t do anything else to ensure my room was clean and safe to stay in

Like: Good location for what I wanted to be near in Paris. Quiet street. Could be better: 1) very small elevator with entrance on level 2 vs level 1. 2) breakfast was only ok with respect to pastries and what Paris is known for - presumably hotel has access to nearby patisseries? 3) amenities were very limited - only really a lobby and not much more 4) WIFI signal does not work in the basement level where the breakfasts are set up. 5) Stairs are a bit narrow on the tread so if guests don’t concentrate and hold on to the hand rail (which may not be possible depending upon what is being carried), it’s really a safety hazard.

A small charming boutique hotel in a fabulous location. The entire staff was lovely and welcoming. The sitting room as you enter is very warm and chic. The room is small but did not deter from our stay. We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful, character-filled property. We had the larger room type, which was very spacious by Paris standards (even my 6’5” husband was happy, though as the hotel site emphasises, not by all standards… bathroom is compact but well thought out). And it has AC, which is essential in a heat wave…! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and you just cannot beat the location. We would return in a heartbeat (and book ahead for the Gainsbourg house tour across the street).

Já era a minha terceira viagem em Paris e eu realmente estava em busca de uma estadia na qual não me desse problema nenhum. De fato, esse hotel é uma excelente opção. Amenities incríveis como cápsulas nespresso e snacks saborosos diariamente. Isso sem falar das garrafas de água diariamente. Café da manhã incrível e maravilhoso, com várias opções de proteínas para quem precisa de uma refeição reforçada e pula o almoço. Embora o hotel tenha tido um problema com o elevador, tudo foi resolvido profissionalmente e de forma satisfatória para ambos os lados. Muito recomendado!

The location was great, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is included and very good but the room was tiny and the windows didn’t open so that’s the only complaint I have.

Hotel Verneuil is a hidden gem in the heart of Paris. Will likely be the hotel I choose for future visits (if am lucky to visit again). All staff professional and friendly. Room clean, quiet, comfortable. Stayed in the small room, but did not find the size too small or uncomfortable for two people. Check in and out were nicely done. Able to leave luggage with reception until room was available, which was nice

This is a beautiful and charming hotel on a VERY quiet street in St Germain neighborhood. Location wise, I found the very close restaurants quite lacking but couldn’t ask for a more peaceful location. It’s situated in between a bunch of art galleries. I heard nothing from the street at all, and of course it was easy to just walk a little further to restaurants. It is quite a trek to the nearest Metro. Staff is incredible, very accommodating and pleasant. One thing to note is that you will leave your key with staff at the front desk whenever you leave. Odd, but as the key comes with a large heavy keychain, I found this surprisingly convenient. There is always someone near the front desk so I never waited more than a minute or two to collect it. The room itself was small by American standards but probably average by Parisian, and very comfortable. Bed and linens were excellent. I slept very well here. Room had free snacks that were replenished daily. Note there is a small minibar fridge but it’s barely big enough for drink and honestly wasn’t very cold. I like to buy a little yogurt and cream for my coffee when I travel but couldn’t here, which I found quite frustrating. The bathroom was decent sized and very clean, although the knee clearance when sitting on the toilet was very tight. Air con worked great. Over all a very comfortable stay and would recommend, particularly for anyone whose highest priority is quiet while still central in Paris.

Lovely clean and airy room with the comfiest bed ever and beautiful L'occitiane shower gel/products in bathroom. What stood out the most were the professional, freindly and kind staff, they are so charming and went above and beyond to make our stay special. A hidden gem in Paris, thank you!

The staff were very kind, thoughtful and helped me out anytime I asked for anything. The room itself was small (to be expected) but was thrown off with the long grain carpet. It’s not the most hygienic to have carpet like that in a hotel. Other than that, the stay was great and the location was perfect.

The room was minuscule and little to no cupboard space. Minute shower very little floor space in bathroom. We were tripping over each other. However we found a large area of mould on the ceiling and when I complained they offered to change our room but as we only had one night and my goods were spread everywhere we declined. That room should never have been sold in that condition and we should have been given some reimbursement !! Staff were delightful however.

Well located and nice hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was a good size for Paris, and the air conditioning was much needed while we were there.
