Hôtel Mercure Paris 19 Philharmonie La Villette

The property is what you’d expect of a value chain. The hotel is conveniently located for La Villette events and also convenient for Gare du Nord on the metro. However the inside is quite dated and a bit dusty, could do with a deep clean. Fine to stay if you’re not planning to spend much time in the hotel!

poorly maintained ,air conditioner didnt work .

We stayed at this property for 4 nights to be close to our family but I would rather have taken an Uber every day and avoid this hotel. The A/C was not working and beware when they tell you it’ll be fixed soon because it’s a flat out lie. Not only were the rooms not very clean with little amenities, the staff didn’t do much to compensate for the lack of A/C. They only offered us fans which didn’t do much

The property is in need of a facelift, decoration and probably new carpets and beds

No bar or evening meals available at the weekend when we stayed poor maid service, had to go looking for her to get clean towels and she didn't bother cleaning the room. Reception staff very good and very helpful.

Everything was fine except ther Air conditioner wasn’t working.

Close to the tube. Area is a bit rundown. The hotel does not look attractive from the outside but the interior is nice and so is the breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful.

A perfect place to stay if you are attending the Philharmonic! Great location for the concerts and very close to the Metro. The front desk was a big help to us and she couldn't be more charming!

I stayed here last year and this year because it is across from the new concert hall. This is not tourist Paris and hardly anyone speaks English. Very convenient for me and safe to come back safely after the concerts.

Good location when attending events at Zénith. Unfortunately the hotel is a bit run down. Bathroom needs renovation. Bed was comfortable enough. Air con did not work properly, very hot at night

Card keys must be replaced. Everyday I asked lobby to reactivate it.

There were a lot of homeless people around the property and on the streets, as well as a disgusting amount of trash and poop, and just overall unclean.

Bad service. The only person helpful was Rafik. Bad behavior of Emanuel! Very mean. Rooms are not clean and they have a policy as Emanuel said cleaning once every 3 days!!!!

Hotel is tired and needs a refit

Close to the tubes to get you to line 1. Was given probably the best room I’ve had in France for a 3 star hotel Front desk helpful and friendly A bit out the way but with the metro it was ok

Convenient hotel, close to the metro and Guard de Nord station. Nice and quiet. I slept very well the two night I stayed there. The breakfast was lovely, great produce! The mini gym could do with an upgrade, two of the machines weren’t working. The staff were really helpful. I recommend staying there.

Nice property room was nice and fairly clean. The area around the hotel was dirty We asked for an iron 4 times and the guy on the desk was not polite about it said it’s in a room and he can’t go and get it. Wasn’t very helpful. We had to go out in un ironed clothes. Also the phone in the room for reception did not work which was not good

At breakfast i was asked to sign for payment. I informed them i already prepaid. She insisted and said it was just for her procedure. At check out i asked about this and was told there was no charge. The person at the counter took payment from my deposit. and only after i requested provided me with a detailed bill. The extra charge was indeed added to the bill. So i was lied to twice even after specifically asking. Then a refund was promised only after providing my bank and personal information. This all seems very suspicious and untrustworthy. I doubt my refund will be sent. And can only hope that my information will not be abused.
