This Chalet was a wonderful surprise! Everything about it was great. The room was clean and stocked with very usable kitchen cooking and eating supplies. I liked the apartment feel. My ground floor room was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean. They do offer sheets and towels for rent which makes sense and helps keep the price per night down. The room was also stocked with items to keep the room clean. The instructions were easy to follow regarding check-in and check-out and what is expected. There is a cost for the WiFi and several tiers are available depending on your needs. At fist, I was put off by all the "extras", but when you look at the cost per night, it is still a remarkable deal. The manager, Pierre, was very friendly and I had the opportunity to have a nice conversation with him. The area is quiet, there are a lot of grocery stores close by. I am eager to visit again with my wife.

Great stay here in Ax. The rooms are very basic, but very clean and within walking distance of the ski lifts. If you're going to Ax to go skiing this place is perfect as a base to stay.

Pay for premium hotel prices, however you dont get premium hotel price service. Bring your own laundry, cleaning supplies and linens. Its like staying in a very expensive hostel. Staff are friendly, but the price isn't worth the room. And you hope the people that stayed before you clean it to an industry standard. Room lacked comfortable seating, something you should expect when staying for a week(?).

The chalet was excellent- location/cleanliness/staff etc.
However we were shocked when we were asked for a 300 euro deposit cash or on card to cover any potential damage/theft etc. There is a notice on the reception wall.
The requirement of a deposit is not included in your website and whilst it was not a problem for my husband and I some may not have a bank card or indeed extra 300 euro cash.
I was not happy providing my card details and it is the first time we have come across a location with this requirement in place.

spotless. very clean and everthing seemed new. lovely clean shhets and towls and plenty of them.
On the negative side while these apartments are well equipped, clean and nicely furnished they are small. The beds are not built for people of bigger builds. my husbands feet hung out over the end of the bed, the mattress is thin and made of foam and the double bed is against the wall on one side. My daughter complained that the bunk bed was not comfortable and as it was in the entryway she was woken when another guest went to the bathroom or in or out the door. Great for a short visit and by Ax Les Thermes standards it is quite good!!!

The appartment was fine - no complaints. However what was not clear from the hotels.com website and booking procedure was that most normal hotel or appartment facilities were not included in the price and were cost extras - eg towels, sheets, normal TV, cleaning, use of on-site spa.

Overall stay was ok. Area is small if staying local but very picturesque. Expected the swimming pool to of been open as it was warm but was closed. No free wifi like the rest of the area tho.
