Aperitton

A lovely, quiet family-run hotel in beautiful Skopelos! We stayed 7 nights in Aperitton hotel and couldn’t recommend it enough. Dimitri and the other staff members were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always saying hello and helping us book restaurants and giving recommendations. There is also a helpful QR code at reception which includes all the information you could need about the island including the bus timetable which we used every day. The pool was a definite highlight, usually having it to ourselves or sharing with only one or two other guests. The hotel is situated near the top of the town so we certainly got our steps in walking up and down the hill everyday, but it was nice to be out of the bustle of the main town area. The room was always clean and tidy when we arrived back in the evenings and the buffet breakfast was great with lots of choice. They were even able to provide a small breakfast to our room for our early departure. Overall we had the best stay at Aperitton and have already recommended to friends! The only small change would be a slightly comfier mattress, but apart from that it was perfect!

Booked one night via Expedia due to high rating and images. Very steep climb from port to reach this hotel on foot. Tough going in heat. Not for anybody with any mobility issues. Friendly welcome on arrival/check in. Charged €5 tourist tax which seemed expensive as our main hotel in Skiathos has far more amenities and rating yet was €2 per night. Very basic room, white decor and clean. Partial sea view. Kettle provided but no coffee/tea/milk supplied. Needs door key fob to be placed in electricity slot so you cannot keep air-con running when you go out. Return to a hot room. Shower not very powerful (at all). Small balcony but air-con unit at floor level. Takes up space. Blows warm air on you. Nice pool area but very fragile/broken sunbeds. One collapsed when I sat on it. Pool bar area was closed and no background pool music playing so devoid of atmosphere. Nowhere in close proximity to nip out and grab something to without the effort of the hill. Quite noisy corridors as people return from Skopelos late. Checked out just after 6am for ferry. Missed breakfast but area where buffet is located is very small. Suggests minimal options. Very overpriced. Wasn’t worth the price point paid and could have stayed closer to port in a similar hotel.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Manos and Dimitrius were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially when it came to arranging transportation and providing recommendations for activities and sights to see around the island. Their assistance made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing, with a great variety of foods to choose from each morning. We were especially impressed that when they learned we would be leaving before breakfast service started, they kindly offered to prepare a packaged breakfast for us to take with us. It was a thoughtful gesture that showed how much they care about their guests. The hotel’s location was excellent. It was within comfortable walking distance of the port and nearby attractions. One thing to note is that there are a few hills to walk up when returning to the hotel, but this was a minor inconvenience compared to all the positives. Our room was very clean and featured a beautiful balcony and an excellent bathroom. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and we appreciated being able to adjust the fan strength and temperature to our preference. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return. Great swimming pool and lovely, helpful staff

Staff was always courteous and spoke good English. If walking to the hotel from the port, know that you’ll be walking uphill most of the way. Room was clean and ready on our arrival. The highlights were the large pool and the breakfast which offered tables with a great view.

Lovely hotel just a few minutes walk from the shops and port. Helpful friendly staff with comfortable AC rooms. Breakfast wasn't over elaborate but more than adequate with a good variety. Recommended

Wonderful hotel and experience! All the staff is lovely and very accommodating. We had a room with the sea view and would highly recommend booking that. The room was quiet and very clean. The breakfasts had a lot of options and was super fresh. Overall, great value for money!

The staff was very helpful with our needs. The view of the port from our room was amazingly. Breakfast was great. There is absolutely nothing negative to say. We will be returning.

My Mum & I stayed here for 6 nights for a chill out holiday. We really enjoyed our time, and we would highly recommend booking if you are considering a stay in Skopelos. The hotel was really well maintained and very clean. Good selection of food available at the breakfast buffet. Nice pool and pool area. The staff were all lovely, they all greeted you warmly and were always available to help- nothing was ever too much. It was also great to receive a little welcome pack with beach & taverna recommendations. The hotel is close to Skopelos town via a short walk through the pretty cobbled streets, there are loads of beautiful shops and a good range of cafes & tavernas to choose from for lunch & dinner. The hotel staff organised a hire car for us, which we would highly recommend to get out and see all of the amazing beaches around Skopelos. We also took the bus to one beach which was easy & cheap! We know the hotel owners are always looking to improve the property to enhance the experience of its customers. With this in mind, we think it would be great to add hooks or towel rails in the bathrooms. We personally found the beds quite hard, so the option of a mattress topper would also be a great addition. The hotel was very

The hotel is lovely, well kept & spacious rooms. Most days we had the pool either to ourselves or with just one other couple. There was no rush to get a sun bed even in peak season. The hotel provided pool towels which was really useful and they also had a pool bar where you could get cold drinks for by the pool. The staff were lovely, so helpful and welcoming - I felt like I could ask for help with anything and they would of helped! The breakfast was continental with a few hot choices some days such as eggs and bacon. I really enjoyed the Skopelos pie at breakfast, it was so sweet and delicious! The only down side to this hotel is the walk to get to it from the port. Google maps shows it as 9 minutes which sounds fantastic but due to the steep hills, it is a very intense and hard 9 minutes! I would say you need to be physically able and fit to go to this hotel. Also a few times we did try to get a taxi (for example when we had our luggage) and there was a huge wait with very limited taxis available. When lucky to finally get a taxi he then did not want to take us to this hotel as the fair was too little and instead took the people behind us which led to us having to walk every time. As mentioned, if fit and able this will not be a problem for you but it is something to consider if mobility is an issue. We did also use a bus to visit Stafylos beach and the buses were very easy to use and got you there quickly. Overall brilliant stay & lovely hotel!
