We loved staying at the Divani Caravel. Our room was perfect for our family, very well kept and everyone made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The neighborhood was great away from the busyness of the center but still accessible to many attractions. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel is beautiful and well kept! The rooftop pool / bar was a fun place to hang out and have a tasty cocktail! The bar staff was Awesome! Very friendly and personable !

Nice hotel! Spacious room. Helpful staff.

While we had an overall pleasant stay, there were a few disappointing aspects that I wouldn't expect from a 5-star hotel. The biggest surprise was the bed. The mattress, pillows, and bedding simply didn't feel like they met a 5-star standard. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and I've honestly had better sleep in some 2- or 3-star hotels. Another issue was the shower drainage. The water drained very slowly, so it would start to build up while showering, which was frustrating. The other disappointment was the pool hours. The pool closes at 7:00 PM, which really limits the opportunity to enjoy it. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was to relax by the pool after a full day of sightseeing and walking around Athens. With such an early closing time, that wasn't really possible. If I had known this in advance, I probably would have chosen a different hotel. Overall, the hotel has its positives, but I think these are important points for future guests to know, especially if you're booking it with the intention of enjoying the pool after a day of exploring the city.

Great Breakfast

Generally excellent. The staff in reception and front of house were really friendly and a credit to the hotel. A big exception was the pool bar area staff who were the opposite. Also relating to the pool use, unexpected closures and the spa unable to produce towels, was a negative. But even that did not detract from an enjoyable stay overall . Superb breakfast too - and with excellent and friendly staff there.
