Great stay overall. The location was excellent—close to Hong Kong Station, Central, and convenient for visiting The Peak. Having one apartment per floor made it quiet, private, and spacious, with lovely views from the room and rooftop bar. However, while generally clean, there were some minor issues like sofa stains and a bit of mold in the shower. Given this, it was a good stay, but still feel it was a little overpriced. Overall, 4 out of 5.

There is only one elevator. The cleaning staff uses it so be prepared to wait a long time. The gym is in the sister hotel next door and is really small. The room was dingy and the couch kept falling apart. The toiilets don't have a bidet, so be prepared to have a crusty bottom. Staff was nice though.

Nice boutique hotel in a very dense, high foot traffic part of Sheung Wan. Location is great with Sheung Wan station a few minutes by foot. The Wellington is literal steps away with at least 3 Michelin Star restaurants inside. Easy navigation for Taxis as the side of the road is usually available for pick up and drop off. Property itself is well maintained. Staff were friendly and offered to be as helpful as can be. Arrived at 12, but couldn’t let me check in even though the hotel itself did not seem to be too busy. Walked around, came back at 2 and they did let me check in after rearranging some rooms. I got the basic room which is a full floor suite. One elevator and it is quite small. This is actually the main downside of this property. I never waited more than 5 minutes but due to the layout of the room, any serious fire outside your door is going to be very challenging to have you escape as it would block your access to the stairs. The room itself is spacious with separate living and bedroom. Overall, more dated than the pictures show. Internet is fast. Washing/drying machine worked well and they had free detergent under sink. Microwave, fridge/freezer, water purifier and coffee machine all available for use. No iron. Slippers and robes provided. Safe in room. Washroom needs a towel bar by sink but other than that, is perfectly fine. Overall, a short 2 night stay and was adequate for my needs. If you are looking for a luxury experience, this is not it.

There’s one day they forgot to take away used towel and short one set of clean towel, other than that nothing bad. Front desk was nice and helpful, location is good.

The location is great! Easy to go anywhere. The convenience definitely compensates the lack of amenities. Make me feel like a local rather than a tourist.

The staff was top notch from front desk to housekeeping. Room was super clean and front desk provided really good recommendations for the area. I will certainly stay here again.

Decent hotel but the rooms were nowhere near 800sqft / 80sqm - more like 40-50sqm of usable space. Also there was only one elevator so getting up or down took more time than you'd expect.

I was given a disability room. The sofa, table, chairs and bathroom sink and mirror were very low and difficult for me to use. There was never any mention of the room type in the ad for the room. That information should be provided by the hotel and Expedia. Had It known about the room type I would have stayed elsewhere.

The location is the main reason to stay here, especially if you’re in HK for gastronomy as the hotel is within a very short walk to many of the city’s top restaurants and cocktail bars. The rooms are clean and comfortable though lacking in decorative character.

Great room, friendly staff & awesome location.

I have stayed at this wonderful establishment more than a dozen times. I come back time and time again becoz I am always welcomed like I am coming home. The room is always in perfect condition and the service is top notch

Like everything about One96 but their laundry machine too difficult to use, no instructions around, elevator lighting too dark.
