Germany Hostel (Managed by Dhillon Hotels)

I was nervous when I booked a hotel here. Because the reviews have lots of complaints. I was really grateful when I got there that I got a clean room, quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, lots of halal food and a shopping center on the 1st floor plus friendly staff. The important thing is that the wifi is fast and you can get free coffee for free. When we got there we were asked for an additional 30 HKD, but that's okay for us, considering that the cost of living in Hong Kong is expensive, this hotel is quite worth it, especially since it's close to the MRT.

The room was really dirty and the overall stay was uncomfortable.

Very cheap and convenient. The location is great. Mtr station, peking road are just few steps away. Check in-out was fast. Down the elevator takes you to food hallway or market. Many indian stores. Halal food. It's just a mix in a pot. You will meet people from all over the world here because it's right the centre of budget hotels hostels guest houses etc. Cocok buat sobat backpacker, sobat misqueen yang ingin berhemat dan bertemu sesama traveller. 😉. Though the space is tiny but it's Hong Kong after all. Very recommended!

We feel like we were ripped off the moment we arrived. we are about to book this hotel there is reminders that there is additional 15% of the total amount to be collected at the hotel and it is 138HKD. It was showed after. They said it is for cleaning charge. It is okay to pay for the cleaning charge if they really cleaned the room. We appreciate that the room was prepared ahead our check in time so we were able to use it, but, it the sheets and linen are not changed. It still smell saliva from the previous client. And for the whole the duration we were there, our room was not cleaned and the sheets were not changed. They only threw the trash and that's it! No towel provided. The location of the hotel us strategic. Just across the MTR station that a plus think and many food nearby to eat. What we loved the most is it is near “The Alley” tea shop. But over all the service is unsatisfying.

Hotel staff is very rude. request additional fees outside of the rates already paid. Deceiving us by giving a single room even though we ordered for two people, there was no water dispenser, towel or mat. We recommend that this hostel be closed! very disappointed with the germany hostel!

nice hostel, but the bed is not good, I do not know they wash it or reuse it.

This accommodation has a good location, but their service was not good, not give us towel, then the room not same like at agent's picture.

Location is good but there are many hostels inside one building and very few elevators. Room is 10th floor so you cant just use the stairs esp with luggage. Falling in line for the elevator takes 10-20mins waiting time.

Well, I can tell if you want to visit shim sha tsui don’t go to this germany hostel we have stayed there good for two days. And when we arrived there I thought it’s a fine room as we can see in the picture but its not right very small room and cannot be move in inside no towels and the plug is quite new we have been in another hostel and it’s not like this. We ask them for a help because we cannot use it but staff are not friendly. I don’t understand why it’s expensive this service charge 79hkdollars.there are nothing in inside and no help and its very difficult to go up because in block d there is only one elevator and everytime it’s full. You have to wait 10mins before you can come down. Or much better to use stairs.

they advertise that it has the appliances needed but my room does not have one of those does not even have a towel you have to pay 20hkd. the worst part is that they did not change blankets. I was just exhausted from my delayed flight and I have to endure the in changed blanket. I requested to have it change but I was told that I already used the one night. they charge service charge but did not even address the concern.

Pretty clean and the location is very strategic in the middle of the city. For transportation very close to the location very not station.

the room is different than the pictures, it's only enough for one bed without space and they gave us the room on 17th floor but the location is good

Location was excellent, they provided me a freshly renovated apartment and quiet. Issues were latch for bathroom not working, no phone, no disposable toothbrush and face towel. 15% extra charges which was not upfront stated.

Very dissatisfied with this hotel! Very dissatisfied! In the online application no information will be charged an additional fee when at the hotel and it turns out that there is an additional fee which says the tax for room improvement services is 15% (when there are 26 HKD) if there is such a fee it should be charged at the start rooms and towels, if you want to use a towel, you have to rent another 20 HKD per towel. Yes, if people like to rent again, what do you want to use the body for? Tissue? Or a hair dryer? In addition, the officers were very, very unfriendly !! Also wifi, it says free wifi but the wifi is not found so it can't connect to the cellphone and the rooms and bathrooms don't match the picture !! The room is very narrow !! It's not really the point !!!

The price of booking far can be cheap, the cleanliness of the room at the beginning is very good but the rooms are not cleaned every day even though there is a payment of 15% service fees are only rubbish cleaned, reception is on the 10th floor there is no interphone, no dispenser is provided, no towels , the apartment elevator is very small while the occupants are many during rush hour the queue becomes very long, the double room area + bathroom = 180x300m does not have a window ... sometimes a very foul smell comes into the room when the refrigator is turned off the refrigerator should be turned on ... not recommended for travelers with a large suitcase and a family with 1 child carrying a stroller ... for the price that I get is still comparable to the room I occupy even including cheap and good for the size of Hong Kong whose cost of living is expensive ... better order online don't go show because there will be lots of brokers and the price will be very expensive, the place is rather scary when at night u want to stay there should be a guy if girls don't show that you are afraid to relax and if offered something reject it politely
