Hotel Excelsior

This is a 2 star hotel at best, but not bad value if you're not expecting more, and suberbly convenient for trains into Rome. Local suburban area has plenty of amenities, and a couple of good restaurants at normal rather than 'tourist' prices

The place is great if only but front desk people never smile. Except the young man.

It is in a convenient location, but there were some areas that didn’t meet expectations during our stay. It’s a place with potential, though certain aspects could benefit from improvement.

Brilliant air conditioning and working fridge, good shower essential in extreme heat.Opposite train station and bus stop, so good for travelling.The staff are very good and breakfast is plentiful with great coffee.Not four star though, no WiFi except in reception area and limited facilities .If you want luxury this is not for you but for a clean bed while exploring the area ok. The hotel is dated but for the price you can't complain although some people do!

This is alot BUT, PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW. I checked out yesterday. I did read some reviews online before booking this hotel, apparently not enough. I am a BUDGET TRAVELER. Some things that are deal breakers for others, are not for me. I don't need a spa, gym, room service ect. I booked this Hotel for proximity to The Rail Service and because THEY ADVERTISED a pool. There were 2 other hotels in Rome, 8 mins away from The Colosseum, same price, no pool. I decided with the heat, I needed to cool down after my long days. 1. The reviews that I read did NOT mention the filth of this property. If it's permitted I will post the disgusting room that was given to me. 2. There were brown stains on the walls in several areas almost every wall. The shower floor had very visible piled up thick dirt on it. 3. The faucets were broken, pieces falling off. I took a video of the screeching ear piercing noise that it made when I turned it on. 4. There were oil like stains on the rugs in common areas. I spend WEEKS planning my trips, specifically keeping in mind the location of THE HOTEL that I book. I booked several ~NON REFUNDABLE~ excursions based on the location of where I would be staying. 5. There is NO WIFI in the ROOM! Only in the Lobby and each time you go to a different site, you're made to sign in again! After realizing the condition of the premises, I went to the front desk area to contact Expedia. I could not make calls, so I was live chatting with them asking them to call the Hotel..

Hotel is far from 4 star not even 3 star! The hotel is in need of full renovation The bathroom smelled damp and shower cubicle too small for average person to use Bedding didn’t smell fresh & was very itchy None of the facilities advertised available (no bar service or on site restaurant)

More than expected

Reasonably priced basic accommodation in Latina. It has 2 majors advantages. It is in walking distance from the railway station and only 40 mins from Roma Termini by train. So excellent for visiting Rome without having to stay in Rome.

Staff was fantastic, great service and convenient for a mid Naples-Rome stayover.

Terrible

La camera era molto pulita e in generale accogliente, solo un po' datato tutto l'hotel. Ottimo il parcheggio gratuito all'interno della struttura, visto che essendo di fronte la stazione non è mai raccomandabile lasciare la propria auto nelle vicinanze

Chambre propre, personnel attentionnés. J'ai garé ma voiture sur le parking extérieur qui est très étroit. Ceci étant un parking intérieur est à disposition

Os atendentes da portaria pareciam ter dormido destapados,emburrados. O serviço de limpeza excelente,estacionamento bom. Agora o banheiro na parte do chuveiro tu te molhava e tem q sair para ensaboar se de tão pequeno E ISSO QUE TEM MUITO ESPAÇO.Cafe da manhã horrível,muitos doces e pouco ou quase nada de salgado
