Had a good stay, good location and close to the train station as well!!

Cannot use the tv in the common are, one man from staff clipped his toenails in the area you eat and cook! - 2 of the 4 toilets not working. The rest of the staff was very nice.

I have no idea why this hostel has a high score on this site. It is absolutely disgusting. Black mold in the showers. Bed sheets and mattresses have visable disgusting stains. The bathrooms have the same smell as camping site public bathroom Its also completely unsafe. I woke up at 3 am to use the bathroom only to find a homeless man cleaning himself. The front door of the hostel is unlocked at night meaning anyone can come in. Sure the hostel is close to the jr station. But given option of staying here again or a safe clean hostel 15 minutes away from a station. I would choose the cleaner and safer hostel every time.

Very nice hostel! Very close to tsuruhashi station, and there's a convenience store right next door. Check in was quick and easy, and the areas are bigger than the pictures make it seem. Everything was clean and comfortable, definitelly recommend!

Very nice hostel. All the beds come with curtains. The common room is big and has a kitchen/fridge/microwave but no cooking stove. The bathrooms are kept clean. A few stains on the carpet/chairs but nothing serious. Overall a good hostel and i will come back :)

We booked a private room for 2, it was very nice. It felt very safe. The location is great , 3 min walking distance from tsuruhashi station. There is also a convenience store downstairs open 24/7. You are not allowed to eat /drink in the room. Also , you have to be quite in the room since its a dorm. The biggest con is that there is no elevator, we had a huge bag to carry up to the second floor! You can always ask help if needed.

Our first time to Japan and we couldn't have found a better place. Conveniently located near the metro stations and ticket discount store. Onsen and Life super market 10-15 min walk. Friendly staff.

This is a dormitory style hotel. If you want you can interact with new faces quite a fair bit. Most of the rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors, but there isn't an elevator. However, if you are backpacking it shouldn't be that much of a problem. The nearby facilities are pretty okay. Food are just a few steps away. And the premises have a washing machine + dryer, makes it convenient for travellers that are staying for long period of time.

Clean, Convenience, good hospitality, near train station

Staff are very nice. The share room is very cozy and the dorm is quiet. The whole environment is very clean. It is also very convenient, its next to family mart and near to the mtr station. I will definately come back again.

This hostel is big and has many bunks! Regular bunks-not the capsule type. Very warm and cozy feel to it and plenty of toilets and shower rooms-so no waiting around :) many food shops and stores nearby. I highly recommend here :D

The beds were very comfortable and the curtains kept the room dark so slept very well.

Near JR station, about 250m walk. Although we were staying in private room, we need to be very quiet cause the partition is not fully covered. Overall, it’s a good stay. Friendly and helpful staffs. Thumbs up for the services 👍👍👍

It was my first experience to stay in a dorm so my opinion might be slightly biased. However I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Sun Village as it has all the necessary facility to make my short stay comfortable. The best part is there is a Family Mart under the hostel which makes it convenient to get any midnight snack or drinks when hunger strikes! ;-)

Awesome location and house close walking distance to subway and attractions. Host are super nice and accomodating making you feel like family.

As always I really like it here It's located in a great spot, and clean and cheap
