Friendly and very helpful staff! Clean hotel with amenities. 2 minutes away from the subway station. Many restaurants around the area. Despite being close to the subway and being located in a residential area, nights are surprisingly quiet. I would definitely come back on my next visit.

Not the best hotel, pictures don’t do justice, the building itself is in poor condition the bed and pillow really uncomfortable. Will not be staying there again and it is too far from tourist attractions.

It was fine for two nights, but like all Japanese hotel rooms it’s super small, more suitable for one person as we were 2, and with suitcase we were on top of each other. That being said, at least the room had a window and the room was super clean

This hotel is not on the usual tourist trail. We always have a rental car so tend to venture off the beaten track. Staff were super friendly. Not much English but that’s just Japan and part of the adventure. Breakfast was typical Japanese hotel breakfast. Don’t ever go to Japan and expect an American Breakfast. They serve salad amongst other things. But pastries and yoghurt were also available. There is a traditional izakaya below the hotel for dinner. And convenience stores across the road. The hotel parking was easy to find and only ¥800 per night. Short walk to hotel from the parking.

This hotel was right next to the Seta Train Station (we used the JR Pass) and it was very convenient in catching trains to the various sites in Kyoto. The room was very small and we had an XL Twin, but the staff was super friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was pretty good. The only things we didn't care for was the cold sausage, cold scrambled eggs and lukewarm salads. The coffee maker also took a long time to brew one cup at a time. But the pastries and bread were great.

その日、雨降り始めてしまい傘がないが、駅からホテルまでのルートが駅から歩道の上には屋根があり、助かりました。ホテルまであと30Mくらいまで屋根なしでもパッと行けます。部屋にはツイン部屋にもかかわらず、スーツケース開くものが１つしかなく、残念。（ほとんどホテルがそうだよね💧）
