The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan

Completely underwhelmed with this hotel. The only, and I mean ONLY good thing is the distance to Universal Studios. The rooms were gross and the beds were like bricks. Awful hotel.

The whole stay there was great. Nothing bad to say, and now improvements needed.

This is my favorite hotel at universal city walk osaka. The staff is always amazing. And the view of the park from our hotel room is the best!!! Park Front Hotel is always my go to every visit

Excellent location close to the park so you can start early, and don’t have to travel at the end of the day. Note that the convenience stores in the area are very busy at both the start and end of the day as patrons arrive/leave.

Beautiful hotel that is an actual 1 minute walk to the front gates of USJ.

This hotel is located right next to Universal Studios. Probably a 1 minute walk through citywalk to reach entrance of park. Very close to train station also. Overall great location to access Universal Studios. Lots of dining options. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Self laundry machine on every floor.

The bathroom is clean and well supplied with toiletries. The beds are very comfortable. There's no mini bar or free supply bottled water. Would prefer to be able to watch free to air TV.

It was right next tot he park so it was really nice. Room was spacious and they help put our luggage in the room upon check in.

The Park Front Hotel is a must visit if you are going to universal studios. It gives direct access to the entrance (around a 5min walk). It also contains a Lawson Convenience Store which is very handy if you need snacks or a budget meal. Must recommend the fried chicken and the chilled udon. Outside the place, there is also access to a variety of shops which are great for late night dinners. Very nice staff, they all have translators and can translate many languages. Also very family friendly. The only thing you need to watch out for is the amenities. The microwaves are not inside your room, instead in a centralised room inside your floor. Also, there aren’t many power outlets and even those are placed bad. However, everything else is very good. The best thing in the hotel is the buffet. It is included with the hotel cost and has an all-you-can-eat where there is many different foods. Buffet must tries: Fried Bananas, Poke bowl (contains fish), French Toast, and the Daily Fish Specials. Overall a great hotel. 4.5/5 Stars

When you walk into the hotel, the front desk area is amazing with chandeliers and beautiful flooring. However, the rooms do not match the overall vibe for the check in area. Our room had white walls, dark flooring and very basic uncomfortable firm beds. The toilet is separate from the shower which didn't even have a small sink to wash your hands after doing your business. I left a trash bag outside to be picked up and it never got picked up. The room just didn't feel clean. The only thing I believe going for this hotel is the location. It's just a few steps from Universal Park. I probably wouldn't stay here again but for one night, we managed.

Only pro is the location. Hotel is old and dated, rooms are very simple. AC doesn’t cool down enough. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, to the point you can feel the springs. Would not come back

My room was perfect for me and my partner! Our bed and room faced universal studios park and we stayed for my birthday! very clean, amazing amenities, and watched fireworks from our window!

I got a rash while traveling in Japan. The second day I checked into the hotel, the rash got worst. The front desk staff was very helpful finding a dermatologist which was behind the universal walk, walked 5 mins there, got some medicine and was alot better the next day. Thank you to the front desk staff for being super helpful.
