It was my first solo trip, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay! The hostel was spotless—everything was clean and well-organized. The staff were super friendly and made me feel very welcome. The facilities were great; all the essentials were provided, and the shared spaces were comfortable and tidy. We had a fantastic stay at Webase Hakata Hostel! The place was spotless, with clean rooms, bathrooms, and common areas that made my stay super comfortable. The location is unbeatable – close to Tenjin, Canal City, and Hakata Station with a train station nearby making it easy to explore the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to offer tips on the best local spots. Although the rooms are somewhat small, the overall vibe was cozy and welcoming, perfect for meeting fellow travelers. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and friendly place to stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by WeBase Hostel. It's many years since we've stayed in a hostel, and this was definitely an improvement on 'the good old days'. Modern, clean, friendly staff, well organised, quiet, nice breakfast snack in the morning. Shared toilets and bathroom were clean. Our basic 2-bunk room was VERY small, but we managed to fit ourselves and packs in there. We aren't likely to pass through Fukuoka again, but would happily stay at WeBase once more.

The staff are extremely accommodating and speak multiple languages. They have tons of local information posted in the shared lounging area, and a stand with local tourist pamphlets. They have a shared luggage area that you can use before and after check-in. It has a cool style, and it's very clean. The location is in a very central area, you can easily walk to cank city or the Tenjin area in 10-15 mins.The only small complaint is the futon in the capsule isn't as thick in others i've stayed in, but you can just use you blanket as a cushion.

First stay at a hostel. Chose a ladies room for four. Pleasant experience. Many brought or cooked their own meals in the public area. Looked like they enjoyed the atmosphere. The common bathroom was well designed and looks like new. Convenient location.
