Shibuya is like 15 minute walk. Super easy and convenient but be mindful Tōkyō has a lot of steep sidewalks/downhills. The rooms are a bit small but the location and environment that this place has outweighs it. It definitely has a party vibe and people awake at all hours of the night. It was super fun meeting and getting to know people from all around the world. I would recommend and stay here again with friends.

Its a very typical bunk bed type of hostel. But the staff and its location make it very worth the price. I very much enjoyed the staff! Very awesome and lots of things to do as its in Shibuya.

Staff are useless if you raise any concern. If you're interested in feeling safe during your stay, they will provide no help. I went to the desk regarding a security concern I had and they just shrugged their shoulders. If you're staying here, keep in mind the desk is just there to provide you towels. They do not care about you.

Good location, 10-15 min walk to Shibuya. Clean and organised. Only 2 showers for the a whole floor isn’t many. Beware if you want to try and check in early, they charge 1000yen. I think this is taking advantage of tired tourists especially when they already have such a late check in time of 4pm. Why not check if the bed is ready and if so, allow someone to check in early. If not, then that’s understandable. The hairdryers are really week and need cleaning or replacing. Staff seemed friendly enough.

I stay here every year when in town visiting family nearby.
The first time, I booked the twin bunkbed room for my brother & I. But the next time it was booked up, so I went with the shared dorm room & found that it was fine. The beds are built solidly & fixed to the wall, offering good privacy, a lockable safe & the beds don't creek or shake when people get in & out of them. The mattresses are comfortable & the linen fresh & clean.
Location is great.
Staff & atmosphere is casual, friendly & accommodating.
All in all, a great, convenient place to camp out for a week or two.

I stayed in a two bed room by myself. Everything about the hostel is great except the photos of my room are completely dishonest. There was literally only enough floorspace to open the door while the photos made it look like there was at least double the space. It made staying or doing anything in the room extremely challenging and uncomfortable.

Hostel has many amenities you need and friendly staff. Convenience stores nearby. Could use some updating, like newer flooring. A 20 minute walk from Shibuya station or 15 minute bus ride so a little bit away from the attractions. The station was a good starting point to many areas and is interesting in itself. Stayed with my 18 year old son for 5 nights and was great experience but a couple of nights too long for me because I felt claustrophobic after three days. Used to North America standards.
