If you are booking a room at this hotel, bear in mind that you might be booking a non-renovated room. So double check before booking. The bedsheets and pillowcase were stained, but it did not bother me. Also, please give us customers better pillows. I had a neck pain after that. The rest was fine. Breakfast was okay. Lots of choice. Gonna stay here again.

The bathroom sink tap was leaking. Breakfast served traditional dishes. The outdoor breakfast area was awesome.

The mattress and pillow were very bad quality.

Currently (Feb - June 2025) I preferred staying in this Ipoh hotel for its city location, free basement car park, cleaniness, utilities offered in the room like available iron/ironing board, basic bathroom amenities, hotwater kettle, comfortable 300mm thick mattress that support the spine well, functionable bathroom, operatable toilet bowl with acceptable water pressure, door with safety double lock, functionable clean lift, with 8 tv channels, affordable acceptable room size with windows (must request) and good location short walking distance to shopping mall, foot massage shops, food eateries restaurants and night walk entertainment outlets. I truely wish the new hotel owner/management will make some changes like changing fitted shower head to removable shower head for better body wash, adding astro cantonese channel and astro waltz disney channel which is popular and add more hotel activities/outlets like 24 hours mart/ restaurant offering breakfast buffet to upsell but maintain reasonable room rates. I had stayed in various levels and different rooms in this hotel with accetance of its basic comfortable room's facilities. I also stayed in the other hotel managed by the same management that is "The Regalodge hotel" which I enjoyed the free breakfast buffet, friendly staffs but needed improvement with the bed quality. I will return to stay at Rega Vista hotel in my next visit to Ipoh.

We chose this hotel cause close to the theme park, got free night pass for every night we stayed. Parking was plenty but quite far from the lobby if the parking is full. The staff at the counter was very friendly and recommended us how to plan our night pass entry. We are staying as a couple, so the room is already comfortable for us because we spent most of our day in the theme park. However, I was unable to use the wifi. Bathroom is okay, but there is no window in the room so it feels a bit stuffy. Also got a room with the theme park view, and managed to view the new year fireworks! Breakfast was quite simple but it was okay for me, taste good and have some differences for different days. I really love the ambience and decorations. The hotel building looks like a rundown from the outside (i guess because the theme is lost world), but insides are quite decent. Despite getting in the hotel with wet clothes, I dont smell musty carpet in the lobby nor the elevator. Thank you for the hospitality!!

The hotel has a grand lobby, friendly staff, and quick lift service. The room feels a bit dated but is well-kept, with a comfy bed and pillows. The bathtub is small but functional. A nearby construction site can be noisy, though it wasn’t an issue during my weekend stay. Overall, a well-located hotel with good amenities.

The best hotel around here. Near mall too, overall is good. Definitely will stay here again when in Ipoh

We stayed in the family room, which was very spacious with sofa and a table. It is also clean. The staff is very friendly. The location is also very strategic. Many food nearby, with Foh San dim sum and Chong Yang kopitiam just at the road behind the hotel. There are even convenience stores and a laundry nearby. We had a pleasant stay here. Will be back again.
