Accommodation Policy & General Information in Somerset Damansara Uptown Petaling Jaya
As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

Cash payments are accepted only in Malaysian Ringgit. No other currencies are accepted and foreign currency exchange services are not available.
In line with the recent announcement by the Ministry of Tourism (Malaysia), the Tourism Tax Act 2017 will take into effect beginning 1 September 2017. An additional levy of MYR 10 nett per room per night will be chargeable to all foreign tourists. Total tax chargeable will be collected upon check-out.
You may be required to present valid government-issued identification at check-in, along with credit card / cash to cover the incidentals and deposits.
All special request such as additional car park, early, check-in, late check-out etc, are strongly subject to availability. You are advised to liaise with hotel directly at least 24 hours before arrival for special arrangement.
Each room is entitled for 1 free car park. 2nd Car Park will be chargeable.
Hotel may charge you additional fee for each extra person after reserves room’s maximum occupancy. Any availability of extra bed or baby crib is subject to availability.
All children are welcome. An additional child or adult will be charged for extra bed.
Request for extra bed or crib is subject to confirmation by management. Additional costs will have to be paid for separately.
Effective July 1st, 2025, complimentary parking will be available for in-house guests at the designated parking area, limited to one car per room and subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis. A flat rate of RM5 will apply for any additional vehicles. Please note that parking is fully cashless, with payment accepted via Touch ‘n Go or debit card only, guests are advised to ensure sufficient balance before exiting
