Noureddine and Sara who run the Riad provided the most incredible service we have ever experienced. They were always on hand to offer advice, organise bookings and upon arrival Noureddine even walked us down through the souks to the main square to help us get our bearings around the city centre. The Riad itself is beautiful and peaceful and we would definitely recommend booking dinner at the Riad for one of the nights of your stay. Sara is an incredible cook and we ate up on the rooftops and it was an unforgettable experience. Really can't recommend this Riad enough.

Our stay at Dar Nour El Houda was absolutely fantastic. It is an easy 10 min walk from the main square. The walk is lined with shops and is buzzing with activity. Noureddine and Sara made us feel so welcome, gave us great advice, and made sure we didn’t get too lost on the tiny Medina streets. The rooftop terrace is simply magical with fantastic views of the city. We stayed in the terrace room and would highly recommend doing the same. Also, the breakfast is excellent! We are going to recommend this place to all our friends.

The overwhelming positive of Dar Nour El Houda is Noureddine and Sara who are both so lovely and welcoming, going beyond the call of duty of your average hosts. I would recommend using the offered transfer service as you'll struggle to find the riad without it. Unfortunately in my case the driver was not there upon my arrival. Thankfully I purchased a SIM before I left the airport and after waiting at the meeting spot for 20 minutes I decided to call Noureddine. My flight was late and even though they had my flight details the driver had gone to do another transfer! All up I had to wait over an hour outside the terminal before a driver turned up. This isn't the fault of Dar Nour El Houda but of the drivers they contract for this service. The other thing I feel obliged to mention is that later the same day I checked out, I discovered I had developed a significant number of small red insect bites, predominantly on my neck and back. These are in lines and clusters - consistent with bedbugs, and have subsequently started to itch, again consistent with bedbugs. This does not reflect on the cleanliness of Dar Nour El Houda - bedbugs don't care about cleanliness. Given where these bites are located, being exposed to bedbugs at Dar Nour El Houda is however the only explanation that is plausible. This is a most unfortunate and frustrating occurrence and Dar Nour El Houda will need to get a professional exterminator in to address this otherwise no doubt others will soon suffer as well.

This Riad was very nice and the staff extremely welcoming. We were served tea upon arrival and given good information about Marrakech. The room was spacious, airy and clean and had a very good shower. Breakfast was good and they accommodated our need to leave early in the morning for a flight. Location wise, it is excellent - a short walk from some of the main squares and areas in the souqs.

I had a great time staying at Dar Nour El-Houda. The building itself is beautiful. We were in the Sirr room, which looks like it was hollowed out of solid stone (though I think it is polished plaster). Very cool and peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful fittings. I looked forward to the breakfasts every morning. They were always delicious and well presented, with something a little different every day, like a different fruit, or a new kind of bread. Best of all, Noureddine was an excellent host. He gave us a very crucial orientation without which we would have been lost three times as much as we were in the end. He was always on hand to help with questions or make suggestions if we wanted them, but also never put any pressure on us. When I lost my purse in a car on the first day of a four day desert trip (after which I was not returning to the riad) and thought I would never see it again Noureddine somehow tracked it down and arranged to have it returned to me during the desert trip. All the contents were still there and the whole thing was nothing short of a miracle! I would absolutely recommend this riad to anyone who was visiting Marrakech.

Can't recommend this place more. It is a beautiful riad in the Medina. The place was clean and the bedroom was comfortable. It has a great terrace on the roof which is very relaxing. The owner Noureddine is so friendly and accommodating. When we first arrived he gave us a very detailed map, recommended some very yummy restaurants and walked us to the main square to ensure we didn't get lost. We went to the restaurant Mristam which had the best chicken tagine. No other restaurants did it the same.

Nourredine was a wonderful host and could not have been more helpful. The food was fantastic and the roof terrace is a great place to eat and just spend an evening. Norredine even came to find me a taxi and ensure I got a good price. Overall and excellent start to the holiday.

Have just returned from a week at this Riad situated in the north Medina and are so pleased to have made a great choice in this place . The building it self is an Oasis of peace and the area is quiet ,found the place well looked after and clean . Nouriddine was simply exeptional and took great care looking after all the guests ,food made by Assia really tasty and both breakfast and Dinner beautifully presented. Will return in the near future here and recommend this Riad to everyone.

I recall trawling through the hundreds of 5* reviews thinking that this surely must be too good to be true. Alas, after careful deliberation, we took the 'dive' and booked. The riad is perfect for a couple/family who want an intimate and relaxing break with an exciting landmark just minutes away. The quality of the build is evident, the room was superb, and the facilities rivalling a luxury hotel. The daily breakfast was fresh and divine - croissants, traditional Moroccan baked pancake type things, fruit, bread, eggs, jams, youghurt, mint tea, coffee - just awesome. Finally, I introduce a man who we were both excited to meet having read the numerous reviews quoting his name, Nourreddine. This man is a legend. He works his socks off and never shows a sweat nor a word of fatigue. He will do anything to help; talk through your best route to somewhere, recommend the best place to get x/y, walk you to your destination/taxi if need be, advise on anything under the sun. He was so welcoming to us, to the extent that he became a part of our holiday. (He's not half bad at card games / checkers either) Thank you!! In conclusion, if you want to be near the hustle & bustle, avoid paying daily taxi fares to get there, want a quiet breakaway from overcrowded hotels, a personal feel to your holiday, be among the locals, and have an epic host - don't bother thinking twice. The price is exceptional too!

We stayed a total of 3 separate nights here, using it as a base between other excursions. We could not have asked for a better welcome and stay in a riad. Noureddine is by far the best, most helpful and accommodating host we have ever experienced. The riad is hard to find - as are most in the medina - and we were glad we requested airport pickup. Upon our arrival, over mint tea and fresh-baked shortbread biscuits, Noureddine walked us through a very detailed map that would get us through the souks, to the main square, and to other sites. Then he literally walked us through as well - accompanying us on our first walk to the square, to be sure we really "had it", and gave us his cell number in case we still got lost. Then, on the (early) morning of our departure, Nouraddine walked with us through the streets to be sure that we found our transport, and bid us farewell. The riad itself is lovely - very clean and peaceful. The location was great and we walked everywhere we wanted to go. We felt very comfortable there, and would absolutely stay there again if we return to Marrakech. Extra thanks and kudos to Nouraddine!!

Amazing riad in the heart of old Marrakech, just a 15 minute walk from the main square. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Their is a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can eat your breakfast! But most importantly the staff were AMAZING. They were so helpful and kind throughout our stay, we will never stay anywhere else!
