Had an issue with my room where the air con had a slow drip. Spoke to the receptionist, who advised the maintenance was not available so if I wanted to change the room. Was happy to do so and actually gave me a better room than I had. Great customer service! The original room did look a bit run down whereas the new room looked new and well kitted out.

Good smart hotel with friendly helpful staff. Great location to hire bikes from the hotel and explore the area on exceptional network of cycle paths. Limited facilities in room e.g. no iron, bottled water, mini bar or safe etc. Perfectly comfortable for what we needed.

Indeling kamer was niet okay, via toilet naar de kamer gedeelte.
Ontbijt start om 8uur ipv 7uur zoals vermeld op de website. Oplossing ontbijtpakketje meegekregen maar brood belegd zonder boter.

In this time we wilve in it is not easy to have a hotel
with all the rules
Asteria have made the best of this and everything is done with the guests in mind
it was a great break for me and my wife just so we could have a nice night together and a great meal in our room
hope the world gets back to normal but i would say to people if you need a short break from home or just to get out from home then this is a great place to stay

While service and helpfulness of staff was fine, the room (suite) was not very good and not a value for money. It was outdated and likely to have bed bugs as we are (1 day later) coming up with bites. Suites should have better amenities, given that rooms below this category had sauna and nicely refurbished showers. We didn't even have a shower cubicle (instead a not so good corner bath) and arriving back to hotel to see our room at 1am meant that we couldn't be bothered to even complaint and just got on with it.
TV signal was terrible too.
The breakfast which was included was just OK, perhaps a greater variety of warm meals would have worked. We had to wait 30 min to receive a warm meal

It's the second stay for us, however this time we were given a not renovated room and we were apalled by the difference! I have to say, I was a little discusted by the state of the bathroom!
There is no ventilation or possibiliy to open a window in the bathroom, black joints between the tiles in the bath (no separate shower) , broken sink, all just looked very grubby and outdated. I expect better form a 4* hotel.
When I addressed the issue with reception I was told, that they were aware of this fact and that the rooms would be renovated sometime soon and that some had already been done. However, we were not offered a better room! And I couldn't help the feeling that because we didn't book direct this time, we got the grubbier room. Two years ago I booked direct and got a much better one, otherwise we would not have gone back!!
Also, there is a ventilation going on (if your room faces in that direction) until about midnight that can disturb the light sleeper.
On the positive side, the food is still very good!
