Urban Lodge Hotel

Room was clean, Location was 1 train ride away from centraal Cannot walk from hotel to centraal (45min walk) Gym was small area Wifi was good 7 min walk from hotel to train station.

Room: spacious for Europe Standard Bed: too soft and loose its firmness, especially on the side since many people have sat on it. So, I got back pain due to the loose of its firmness. Staff: courteous and nice Breakfast buffet: good with varieties Parking: spacious and it costs about 17.50€/day Location: walk about 8 minutes to the nearest central train station to go to Amsterdam Central. Best way to buy the ticket: go straight to the information office to buy ticket = faster than figure things out by yourself. The automatic ticket system will quote you a ticket price that will cost a lots more than buying from the ticket office.

Great staff, great location, very large room, good shower. It is a converted office block so no opening windows at all and although the soundproofing to the outside road/rail noise is excellent, there is quite a lot of noise from the next door room. Bed sheet straight on to mattress too, no protector, no topper, nothing, not cool. Didn’t try breakfast, so cannot comment.

Room was very clean, towels were changed every day. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The small on site gym was a brilliant bonus. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room was super clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The station into Amsterdam centre was one stop away from the closest station within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. All in all we would definitely stay here again.

I was expecting more, it is just an OK Hotel. The breakfast was expensive and poor, and I have to pay in advance or no breakfast. For a hotel of this category is very unpleasant the way they treat their customers.

We had a great one-night stay here. We picked it because of the location; there isn't much in the immediate area, but it's close to the train that will get you to Amsterdam Centraal, the airport, and other Dutch cities very quickly. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable with large rooms (for Europe) at a reasonable price. Some members of our travel party had the breakfast and enjoyed it as well. Friendly staff. We'd recommend!

Very good service and quality

Staff were so friendly, location great for Amsterdam, Zandvoort and Utrecht. Breakfast quite expensive. Room functional and clean. Toiletries provided, but hair/body wash in one, so bring own shampoo if you need it. Coffee machine nice addition. This place biggest asset is the staff.

Bed Bugs!

August 2025. Infested with bed bugs. Absolutely filthy. AVOID!
