Fantastic location, Clean rooms and friendly staff. I didn’t take breakfast. Friends did and it looked abundant and delicious. Drawback is having to wait until 4:00 for the room. No amenities in the room, even tissue except for hand soap, Shampoo & Conditioner in dispensers on wall.

The hotel staff were amazing. We had no idea because we received zero advance communication, but the restaurant and hospitality staff in Bergen were on strike during our stay. The hotel restaurants and bar were closed the entire trip. We had been hoping to eat dinners at the hotel. Hotel breakfast was available and was very nice, but the seating area was overly warm. Our hotel room was dated but very clean. The air conditioning did not work, but we were very grateful that the room windows opened. 24 deg Celsius was just a bit too warm for us to sleep. But the windows allowed cool fresh air in. Overall I think this would be a lovely stay if the restaurants and bar were open and the hotel wasn’t kept so warm. It was clean and very near to every attraction. The hotel staff were very kind and welcoming. Advice: check ahead to see if any strikes are affecting service before you travel. They are very common in Europe. We’d always been notified in the past, but not this time. Expedia should do better to keep its customers informed.

Very close to the pier and waterfront. Lots of shops nearby. Walking distance to centre square Tourist information office by the waterfront Beds were comfortable but only wished they had a few more pillows. No Kettle in room to boil hot water.

My biggest complaints are that the beds and bedding were terrible. The TV also only had 2 channels and the chairs in the room were also uncomfortable. Good incentive to stay out and about, but i definitely think it is overpriced for such an uncomfortable room. The gym and breakfast were nice, and the staff was helpful.

Nice spacious room and bathroom, much larger than other rooms of the same price I’ve stayed in, including two chairs and a small table, business desk and chair, and a small footstool at the end of the bed is nice when putting on shoes, etc. The breakfast was excellent. It’s also in a part of town that’s close to Bryggen, restaurants, shopping, and ferries.The ONLY downside is it’s a bit of a maze to find your room… elevator up, walk the hall, turn left up a couple more stairs, walk the hall… Still, I would definitely stay here again. It was the nicest hotel of the entire tour.

Our bathroom had black mould in the shower area and the whole room smelt like mildew/mould. Staff was not helpful & quite rude when addressed. They did go on mid strike during our stay, which did not effect our stay

Ok so the place is a little run down but the room I had was large . I even had a bath tub . The bed was clean and comfy . The included breakfast was really good ( very good ) so overall it’s good value for money . In a great spot too so you can walk to most things and I walked from the train station . As long as you not a neat freak it’s good value
