Pleasant helpful lady on reception, quick and easy to check in. Lovely spacious spotless and comfortable room. Hotel very central, close to bus and train stations and everything else. Would definitely stay again. Good price too.

Excellent hotel and location. Every single thing about our visit was perfect and was such a treat. Wonderful staff, loved Sophie, she helped us have a very smooth checkin after 30 days on the road. Extremely comfortable bed and wonderful shower, loved having AC, everything so very clean. Just can't say how much we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Very disappointing stay in a supposedly 4* hotel. Mattress in our room had collapsed on 1 side and so I never slept all night,we were at a concert so never got too bed till around 12-30 so didn’t know about the collapsed mattress till we went to bed so we tried to deal w

We arrived for check in at 3 pm as instructed. There was a queue of about eight groups ahead of us. Once we reached the front desk, we were informed that the computers were down and there was no WiFi in the rooms. I asked the gentleman behind the desk if he might know when the WiFi might be back up, and was told simply "I have no idea, it's a world wide issue. He checked us in using a printed roster of guests and gave us a room key. I had requested an upper floor and some extra towels. Our room was on the 1st floor, and no extra towels. We got to our room sometime after 4 pm. At 10 pm there was still no WiFi. My wife decided to shower. There was no hot water, just luke warm. Our pay-as-you-go phone was empty. Our two US phones have no cell service, only WiFi functionality. We could not communicate with anyone to let them know we had arrived and were ok. At midnight still no WiFi. At 7 am still no WiFi, shower a little warner, not hot. We dressed and went down to the desk. We were told they did not know when the systems would be back up. We were told our key cards would expire at 12 noon, and they would need to be re-keyed if we tried to go to our room after 12. We walked out to find a place to update our pay-as-you-go phone. Once that was done, we got on a hop-on-hop-off bus to explore the city. We returned to the hotel about 4 pm and found a crowd of 20 or more guests trying to check-in, check-out, and get room keys re-keyed. We stood in line for about 30 minutes.

There was a system outage during our stay which meant that the hotel staff could not check us in. While I understand this was not the fault of the staff at the hotel, they were not able to delegate the tasks to check in guests properly and kept assigning guests rooms that were already occupied.

The hotel is lovely, clean and in a great location. There is currently construction on the street blocking access to the hotel. This was not disclosed at booking. The front desk did not answer the phone while we figured it out nor did they seem to care.
