The property is clean and in the middle of everything. Free parking on street. Restaurants everywhere. The two bad issues - hair dryer did not work and there is no thermostat to turn heater on as it became cold in the middle of the night. I had to get up and wear my jacket in bed. However, the property is good for the price I paid. I only stayed one night to start my Camino. A good place to start!

The room was great for the price. The only downside was the breakfast. Staff had no idea what a vegetarian is much less vegan. Yes, I asked in Spanish. Very little to eat that healthy. There was unwashed fruit on the buffet and some juices.

This was the first night of my Camino, accommodation was basic but everything I needed. The only issue was the cockerels squawking during the night which didn’t aid a good sleep. It was a good starting location for the Camino as you literally turn out the door and you’re on the Camino leaving Sarria.

This stay was a solo stop during a Camino. The weather had been very wet and I needed to take a break and await my my wife's arrival. The bedroom was clean, bathroom clean, bedding clean, TV in full working order. The cafe attached served a great menu del dia option including wine for 10€. The food was plentiful and I really enjoyed it. Staff were helpful and one spoke good English. The hotel is 20 minutes walk from the railway station via the town centre. I would happily stay here again

2/26 - Hostal DP Crystal, Sarria Renovated, clean and spacious. We stayed in a triple bed room with a private bathroom. Linens, towels and bathroom necessities were included. The beds were fairly new and very comfortable. Located close to stores, shops and a selection of restaurant and cafe bars nearby, the property also has it’s own restaurant which served very tasty and delicious local dishes. The portions they served us were plentiful which we found out later that Galicians always served their guest a healthy serving. Lourdes - our waitress provided us with exceptional service. Nadel who received us at the hostal was also very helpful and courteous. Lucia who served us coffee at the bar in the morning gave us the same great service as expected. The overall service we received from this property is outstanding and their staff are very friendly, professional and accommodating. This Hostal is a gem of a find. We highly recommend it.

Bathroom was private but unvented. Could have used a little more furniture in the room (room for 3, 3 beds and only 1-2 chairs and a tiny desk. Otherwise clean and convenient for the Camino de Santiago. Bar-cafe downstairs and available laundry service (but not really cheap).
