Hotel Argantonio

Hotel Argantonio was the perfect place for our weekend trip to Cadiz. The hotel was very quaint, and the staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.

Hotel Argantonio is right in the heart of Cadiz so perfect for exploring the city. Despite its central location, it is on a quiet street and so night time noise is limited. The room itself was lovely, comfy double bed with a clean and well maintained bathroom. We did not have breakfast but it is within minutes of multiple cafes and restaurants so this is not a problem. We used the underground parking that the hotel has which we booked ahead and was perfect. One tip - if you are driving to the hotel and parking, hire a small car as the streets to get to the hotel parking are incredibly narrow!

What an excellent choice the Argantinio turned out to be for our two nights stay in Cadiz. Driving there we found it relatively straightforward to find and the hotel having its own garage at the hotel was perfect - somewhere we could leave the car for the duration of our stay while exploring the old city with its narrow streets by foot. The hotel is designed very well and with magnificent moorish painted doors. Our room was spacious and well appointed and the beds were extremely comfortable. I enjoyed a couple of hours after a day's exploring on the tasteful and relaxing rooftop terrace of the hotel with a cup of coffee from my room and a pastel de nata from a nearby bakery. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. Generous freshly squeezed orange juice, a very good coffee, granola, quality yogurt and ham and cheese and fruit. We didn't need anything else till dinner (don't mention the pastel de nata!). A very good hotel, we were so pleased with our choice!

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location

We enjoyed our six night stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was ideal. Members of staff were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious.

The property is a bit off the beaten path. We had difficulty locating it. There’s offsite parking a few blocks from the hotel.

cold Breakfast was minimal and maybe over priced. Parking was acceptable although a tight squeeze. Room offered 2 single beds although a double was requested. Maybe due to late arrival. Good location. Maybe notable that ratings on window were several years old. Has investment stopped?

Delightful small hotel in a converted merchant's house ideally located in the old town. Great service including good communication prior to arrival and cava, chocolates and fruit bowl as a surprise welcome. Tasteful room decor. Comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water. Fluffy towels. Tea making facilities and strong WiFi. Filling continental breakfast on offer. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend it to others.

The hotel is perfectly located in the Old Town and close to the beach. The hotel has some parking directly opposite costing 18 euros a day. Getting to the hotel is difficult with the narrow streets but once you are there and parked up in their car park(which we managed with our SUV) you can relax and walk everywhere. Staff are absolutely delightful and hotel is very dog friendly. We didn’t have breakfast because there are so many options in the town. Highly recommended

We loved our stay here. It was very conveniently located. We were surrounded by shopping and dining options and it was too far to walk to other sights including the beach. We even walked to and from the train station. The room was on the small side, but perfectly fine for a couple of days and it wss cozy. There is a terrace on the roof that was a highlight for sure! We had our coffee up there each morning, it is decorated so cute! The staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is charming with a family run vibe. My room had a homely feel, it was bright and airy, and very clean. The continental breakfast was perfect for my tastes and tbe coffee was delicious.The staff were all warm and friendly Its a great location and everything was within a 20 minute walk (including Cadiz railway station).

This is a beautifully designed little hotel with a lovely rooftop terrace and a pretty sitting area past the front desk. Our room was small but cleverly apportioned, with a closet tucked in a corner and shelving under the TV. Great location on a nice quiet street, 10 minute walk from the historic city center. We loved Cadiz!

Beautiful little find, such friendly and helpful staff. We had daily breakfast - continental only, but fresh and served with smile .Perfectly situated to visit Cadiz and near to train station for further afield Thank you to all the staff....

The hotel has a perfect location, in the center of Cadiz , Room very clean, air conditioning excellent, the water pressure in the bathroom perfect with hot and cold water. They have a rooftop very nice . The espresso coffee in the lobby was very good , we did not reserve bk I don’t know how it was. Staff very nice we had a delay and we checking almost at midnight and they have 24 hours reception. I really like this hotel, I would definitely stay again.

This is a quaint, quirky hotel, offering something a little different. We had a lovely stay in a balcony room to the front of the property. The breakfast was nice and very relaxing as we were waited on by the staff. The provision of a bar in the lobby was appreciated, we could fit in one last drink before bed.
