Hotel La Zubia

The owner contacted me and as we were late arriving waited for us and made sure we could get into the hotel and our room and was really helpful.

When I arrived I was stood outside for 20 minutes until I was finally contacted with instructions to get in the hotel! I got in and was told to get my own keys from a key box that was open to all with many sets in there! Our keys were not there so I then got told to check a draw in the desk that had many more sets of keys again open for all to access! This was very unsafe an uneasy as anyone could access any room realistically! The manager/owner who has been what’s app messaging was extremely rude and abrupt on the phone and didn’t seem to care when I told them of this ! The same thing happened with keys a year and a half ago with a previous stay I will never return!

We arrived at the hotel in the evening, there were no lights on inside or out. We did not have internet so had not received the message on how to get in the building.It cost me a very long phone call to Jorge in Santander. There was no receptionist nor a security man. There was no central heating. No spare blanket. Granada is very cold especially when there is snow on the mountain. We should have been warned that this was not a conventional hotel.

Far from everything. Limited shops around. Communication with the staff was bad. Hot water went out late at night. Check in was hard. Better instructions are needed. Communication was all done via WhatsApp. Place is clean but the lack of staff killed it.

The property is well maintained. There’s a bar and restaurant inside the gated hotel. The food is good. The room is comfortable and has AC. My only issue with the property is hearing the noise from the restaurant and bar area during lunch and dinner hours and I could hear the room beside me when they were talking and other guests who were out in the hallway if I didn't have the TV or AC on and the window doors closed.

Beautiful villa, with nice rooms. Bathrooms are not the most modern standard but are ok. The rooms are little noisy since all rooms have light doors. You definitely hear other guests talking and walking by. For a short stay absolutely recommended!

Comfortable beds, good sized bath room (with bath and shower). Friendly hotel staff. WhatsApp communications were good. We were given clear instructions for our late check in. Self-service breakfast laid out in breakfast room with tea and coffee making facilities. Bus stop just outside the front door for buses into Granada.

Nice small Hotel, in a lovely small town outside of Granada. We have received a wonderful hospitality from the Staff of the Hotel.

Hotel muy agradable en el Barrio de La Zubia. Las habitaciones muy bonitas, cómodas y limpias. El personal a cargo muy amable y nos dieron indicaciones muy adecuadas para hospedarnos.

Limpio y ordenado. Buena localización al lado de todo.

Nos atendieron súper bien, lo recomendamos fuimos con dos niños pequeños y la atención fue exquisita volveremos seguro.

Nos sorprendió gratamente el sitio y lo bien cuidado que estaba, tanto el hotel como sus espacios exteriores. La habitación era espaciosa y con un baño completo muy grande. Un trato cercano de los dueños y siempre dispuestos a ayudar.

Un recinto muy bonito en un pueblo interesante cerca de la ciudad. El hotel por dentro está muy bonito decorado, muy acogedor.

Es un hotel rural, cerca de Granada centro, dispone de todo lo imprescindible, muy limpio y con restaurante en el mismo hotel.
