From the moment we arrived, the service exceeded our expectations. Every member of the staff was genuinely friendly, professional, and eager to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The spa was one of the highlights, offering a relaxing, first-class experience that left us feeling completely refreshed. The hotel was incredibly accommodating with every request we had, always responding promptly and with a positive attitude. Security was another standout feature. The property is located in a secure area, and the vigilant security team provided added peace of mind at all hours. The rooftop bar offers a fantastic atmosphere with great views, making it the perfect place to unwind in the evening. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally well maintained. The bed was among the most comfortable we’ve slept in, making it easy to get a great night’s rest after a long day. Overall, this was an outstanding stay from start to finish. Excellent service, beautiful amenities, outstanding comfort, and exceptional attention to guest satisfaction. We truly have no complaints and would gladly stay here again.

The room was comfortable, but it was clearly outdated. The bathroom cabinets were damaged, the bathtub was old and worn, and the furniture looked aged and in need of replacement. In addition, the TV did not work during our stay. What surprised us the most was that the rooftop pool was closed at 12:00 p.m. during the summer, apparently due to a decision made by the new hotel manager. It was very disappointing, as the rooftop pool is one of the hotel’s main attractions, and closing it at midday significantly takes away from the guest experience.

We checked in and was told we were going to be at apartments across the street. We had unit 33 on the 3rd floor. It was a 2bed/2bath apartment. The guest shower smelled like mildew or mold and the shower did not work. The primary shower was broken but we were able to make it work just enough to shower. Every single bathroom sink or tub was slow to drain or was clogged. The TV in the living room was broken and we were unable to watch the world cup from the room. A few of the power outlets didn't work. The espresso maker in the kitchen was also broken. When we came back to the room after the first night, the beds were made, but they just tossed clean bathroom towels in a plastic bag on the floor in the living room. We were thankful for the space and 2 bedrooms, but disappointed overall.

Beware when booking the Majestic Hotel Barcelona. We were extremely disappointed and felt completely misled by the booking process. We paid premium hotel rates expecting to stay in the actual hotel, only to find out upon arrival that we had been placed in an apartment building across the street. At no point during the booking process was it made clear that we would not be staying in the hotel itself. Had we known this, we would have chosen another property. Being across the street made it inconvenient to use the hotel’s amenities, and the experience felt more like a short-term rental than a luxury hotel stay. For the price we paid, we expected the full hotel experience, not an apartment detached from the main property. The lack of transparency was frustrating, and the overall experience did not meet expectations. If staying in the actual hotel building is important to you, make sure to confirm your room location before booking.

We didn’t like that the room was not in the hotel. It would be a good idea to make it clear that the apartment you are buying is across the street from the hotel. I don’t feel I was part of the hotel and I think the website should specify this apartment is not in the hotel. It was an inconvenience for us and couldn’t use the pool since we had to walk across the street to actually get to the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for one night before boarding my cruise. The location was excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The only downside was the breakfast. While there was a good variety of options, the taste did not quite match the quality and selection offered. Overall, however, it was a very good hotel, and I had a pleasant stay. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel in Barcelona.
