Comfort Hotel City

On the day of the check-in, I received an email saying there is building work and therefore there will be a breakfast bag in the morning instead of a buffet, and that there would be no compensation etc since this was planned. At no point during my booking - months prior - was there any information provided whatsoever that the hotel entrance would be a building site or that the breakfast buffet would be off. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere, as the there were other options within the same budget, and the breakfast is what swayed me here. The room itself - the bathroom was clean, the room looked fine. The staff. Let's say if you're not a white Swede, I'd recommend going elsewhere, as you will feel the difference in treatment. Not from all staff - some were lovely. But some were consistently extremely polite and kind to white Swedes, and simply tolerating anyone else. It's a budget hotel, so all I expected was a breakfast buffet and decent staff. Got none of the first, and half of the second. So if you want a room and don't care about your breakfast or how the staff treat you, it's a good choice.

Friendly staff , great location in the city

Work is being done at the hotel and we were advised of this prior to arrival. Room was on smaller side with fold down beds for the kids. 2 small doubles and 2 dold down singles - all really comfortable. As work was being done, no breakfast buffet but breakfast bags were provided with yoghurt, juice, fruit, sandwich and egg - so much food! Overall very comfortable stay!

I understood the room will be small, but that was by far the smallest room I have ever had. The staff was great, and breakfast was really good.

Rooms are small but with comfy beds. Rooms slightly outdated with lights not workinh here and there, but the biggest plus is the location. It is the City centre of Gothenburg and it is close everywhere. Very nice breakfast with repeated food every day, but can have your full and food is very tasty and nice rollds and fresh bread. Visited the hotel second time and just now disocvered the guest kitchen. Brilliant

The hotel is spotless, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast offers a variety of options. Although the room is small, it is well-designed. It is wthin walking distance to the central train station.
