Hotell Breda Blick

Really nice small hotel, convenient to historic area (although the entire inner town is historic). A bit warm because no air conditioning, but then it IS summer. Good breakfast with many choices. The staff at breakfast was a bit harried (not enough staff with too much to do), but still friendly. Would gladly stay her again.

The hotel is right on a large park, the botanical gardens, and is a 3 minute walk to the Visby Wall and Baltic Sea shore for watching incredible sunsets.

I really don’t want to recommend this hotel because then everyone will go and I won’t have it to myself. It is perfect and a little piece of heaven on earth! Now stay away!!!!!

Very pleasant stay. Wonderful staff. Great breakfast and ice cream. Rooms were ok. Some cobwebs etc. But overall very nice.

The hotel was excellent when travelling with a small dog. The hotel staff was very friendly and always attentive to our needs. The hotel is next to a beautiful park and at a perfect walking distance from downtown Visby. There is a daily dog + dog owners meeting at 8:30 am in the park. It was dog playtime for half an hour. Everyone was welcome. That was one of the highlights of our trip.

Very historical neighborhood and building. The room was spacious with an updated bathroom and an adjustable bed. Breakfast is served on blue willow china - very classy touch.

Such a great location within the historic walls of Visby. It was very convenient that they have parking (you have to reserve parking by contacting the hotel directly, there is an additional daily charge). There is NOT a 24-hour front desk, you have to arrange in advance if you will arrive late. Bathroom was tiny small.

Lovely old hotel in a beautiful setting. The room was clean, comfortable, and with an updated private bath. Great breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful.

Breda Blick is an old hotel with tons of character. Located in the wall surrounding Visby, it's close to the beautiful public garden as well as the coastline. Just a short walk down the street are restaurants, cafes and a great Irish pub with live music on Fridays. The hotel is charming and quirky and the cafe provides a great breakfast for its guests. It's a great value for staying in Visby.

Sadly although we'd made our reservation 2 1/2 months before our stay- when we arrived we were told that they'd given our rooms to a group that was staying longer. ( a day longer ) We objected strongly .. and they insisted it was necessary- they'd had to place people from this large group " All over the city" If they placed them all over in different hotels - why bump us? We didn't get any reasonable explanation for that. but we did give in and move to their "sister" hotel not far away and it was fine. We'd flown from USA took an hour train and a 3 hour ferry to a place we had a confirmed reservation with. The experience left us feeling unhappy and upset. They offered 2 lunches as compensation... it was well past lunch time for the first one.. and we were exploring far from the hotel the next day. If they'd paid for dinner that evening it could have reversed the bad feelings.

Nice room, amazing breakfast. Less than stellar room care where cups are rarely washed and shower soap is never refilled.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has been recently refurbished and our room was immaculate, tasteful and comfortable, with a lovely view of St Clements Church through the skylight . The hotel is excellently located for sightseeing. The breakfasts are very generous with a wide choice of things to eat. The homemade bread is particularly nice and Steve who provides the breakfast is very friendly, obliging and informative. We did however have a problem with the check-in. There should be a notice and a map on the door of the hotel to say that check in is at the Hotel Gute and where to find it. This information should also appear on the booking confirmation email. We were stumped when the taxi dropped us off and we could not get in to the hotel.

Det här hotellet har en fördel: mycket sköna sängar. I övrigt behöver det verkligen fräschas upp och säkerheten ses över - särskilt om man ser till vad rummen kostar. I mitt rum exempelvis fungerade inte alla eluttag vilket på sikt kan vara farligt.

Vårt rum vette mot klienten, bakåt. Träffade någon, som bodde en våning högre och mot sjön med hänförande utsikt. Vi fick färdiga mackor för att hinna med tidiga färjan, utomordentligt. Dock saknades sked för yoghurt. Perfekt läge för den, som tillbringar mycken tid i DBW's trädgård.

Så trevlig personal. Vi fick rummet högst upp, otroligt vacker utsikt, men väldigt jobbigt att bära upp en super tung resväska i den smal trappa. Rummet var fint, men damm flög runt på golvet.. Jättebra frukost om man tål gluten,om man inte tål gluten då var utbudet hårtbröd. Läget är fantastiskt

Mysigt hotell ingen frukostbuffé pga lite hotellgäster man fick beställa innan vad de skulle duka upp. Kallt kaffe. Trevlig personal ligger bra härlig utsikt. Mysigt hotell men ingen hiss och Mycket trappor.

Läget var fantastiskt och super god hotellfrukost. Personalen var hela tiden trevliga i sitt bemötande och hjälpsamma. Frågade om vi kunde stanna kvar en stund efter utcheckning då en av oss var mycket trött. De kollade direkt upp om det gick att lösa vilket bara det var underbart. Personalen ordnade så vi kunde få några timmars behövlig vila till och det betydde så mycket.
