Small reception/check in area. Cold water and coffee dispenser at the reception area. In the city center, easy to get around the area to walk and get uber/taxi and theres a bus stop nearby. Swiss breakfast free w/our stay, thank you! We're able to leave our luggages post check out and they have large storage at the back. The room is small but enough for us. No fridge if thats what youre looking. We're surprised there's an AC coz online it says no AC. A little bit pricey.

Hotel location is good, close to shops, lots of eating options and closecto the train station. Room was clean and daily room make up was fine but you have to request it on the door. It was good to have tea/coffee available at the reception at all time.
Breakfast was very basic and same everyday.

Yes and yes. Daniel at check in was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast had a very nice selection, especially liked the cut fresh fruit, and the selection of juices and teas. Daniel was kind enough to fill my request for a balcony room which I enjoyed tremendously. My room was extremely clean and comfortable. I will definitely use this establishment again.

The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station.
The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. They also have an in room safe to store your valuables.
The staff are very helpful, friendly and professional.
There is also a communal coffee machine in the entrance for you to help yourself to.
Highly recommended.

We booked this hotel for my elderly mom during the July 2026 heat wave because it had air conditioning. What a relief that she was able to stay so cool during the hottest summer days in her room at the Hotel de la Paix. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hotel is in a central location on the same block as bus transportation. The hotel also provided a Luzern visitor card, which included free local public transportation.
Breakfast provided a good start for the day. The room was clean. It was also quiet at night, even though we had a balcony looking out onto the street. The street was busy during the day but became quiet at night.

The room was clean, and the breakfast was good. However, I had a few issues with my stay. There was essentially no hot water in the morning, so my first shower was completely cold. The room also didn’t have enough power outlets, which made charging devices inconvenient. Only two towels were provided, and we had to request additional ones. The front desk employee who checked us in was not very friendly or welcoming. Overall, the room itself was fine, but these issues took away from the experience.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel has a reasonable breakfast offering which was included with our stay. The room was fine, but some of the lobby areas of the hotel could do with an update. However, this is a fantastic location for exploring Lucerne and we had a beautiful view from our room.
