Hotel just 5 min walk to bus and rail stations. Very well appointed room with separate lounge/work area. TVs in both lounge and bedroom. Restaurant for evening meal had good menu and great service. Breakfast also good. Deserves higher 4* rating

Great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, there's an uncomfortable gap between the two matresses, so it's not really a double bed.

Sargans was our overnight stop on a long journey. Hotel was convenient for the station and they made us very welcome. 1L complimentary water in the room, free drink at the bar. Decent restaurant too, and a good breakfast. Very pleased with our choice.

The lobby smelled strongly of smoke due to the smoking room nearby, and that's never a good sign. The rooms were fine and breakfast was average. No AC, but there were fans which we used. Would choose a different hotel next time.

The Hotel Post does what you expect it to do: provide a roof over your head. My room was very spacious and gave on the backyard so it was pretty quiet. However, in order to reach it you have to climb two flights of stairs and cross the restaurant room, which in the morning was awkward. Overall, the hotel has a business-retro look, which I don't think is intended. The staff was rather friendly and though the surroundings are not particularly nice you are only minutes away from the old town and good eating spots.

Unusual building lay out was difficult for hauling heavy bags but help was offered. Check in is next to their smoking lounge which is unpleasant for non smokers. Room had everything we needed and breakfast was wonderful!

The staff are superb! Very welcoming and approachable people! I should like to thank you ladies who worked in the restaurant in the evenings for their professionalism and help. My room was spacious and well equipped and the breakfast was very good too. The hotel is also handy for buses to local towns and villages.

We booked fairly late, just staying one night. The hotel is bigger than it looks in the photos and and a coach party stopped over the night we were there. it looks as if it's set up for business meetings
