Breakfast was amazing! Breakfast included eggs, sausage cold cuts, fruit. wonderful selection of local cheeses and a wide assortment of breads and pastries. Easy walking distance to old Basel.

A really lovely hotel in a great location. Staff were fantastic and the breakfast was superb. Would recommend to anyone staying in Basel. Room was really hot but luckily our room had a large free standing fan.

Convenient location with access to the river and city centre. Comfortable rooms and the best breakfast with a quiet shady patio area. Very friendly staff. The rooms do not have air conditioning which is only an issue when temperatures are very high, which is not often. I have stayed here several times and will return again.

We stayed here 6 years ago. It was great to come back to! The location is excellent for getting to all the local attractions and the train is close to get in as well. Great staff and an excellent breakfast.

A lovely hotel, staff very friendly, great breakfast with the friendliest staff I have seen in a long time. Hotel has no air conditioning but they do provide a fan. Excellent public transport links to city.

- right next to a tram spot
- super clean rooms and nice bathroom
- all staff we dealt with were wonderful
- free mini bar! (One beer, two cokes, two waters)
Only downfall was the room was SO hot! It was 0 degrees mostly when we were there but had to sleep with the door open as it was too hot / stuffy. Otherwise, I really recommend and thank all of the staff! :)
