Loved this slice of heaven, away from the crowds of Lugano but yet convenient to get to by car. The front desk service was amazing - the girls were so friendly and helpful. Daily breakfast was clean tasting and delicious. The hotel grounds are so thoughtful, well designed and aesthetic. Despite it being an old building, it did not feel cold like some old buildings can - Insulation done right! Highly recommend to anyone who loves a quaint boutique hotel with great service and thoughtful spaces.

Easily one of the best properties we have ever stayed at! A gorgeous example of adaptive reuse, with original 16th century convent ceilings and floors and beautiful award-winning decor throughout. The hotel is in a quaint hilltop village with private access to a castle and a winery a short hike away. The onsite restaurant is superb, with excellent food and staff. The front desk staff are also very kind and welcoming. Very comfortable bed and room with a very effective AC. You cannot go wrong here, we just loved it!

We spent two nights at the Relais for our wedding at Castello di Morcote. Other than the hotel being absolutely beautiful, the staff were the ones who made our stay extra special. Andrea and Francesca went out of their way to accommodate us on our wedding day. They helped us with lunch the day before and the day of our wedding, and they facilitated our vendors as we prepared for the big day. The location is magical too, and it is one of the most peaceful places that I have been. Thank you so much to everyone at the Relais who made our wedding experience so incredible. We're forever grateful!

We loved staying in this hotel with its unique history and beautiful decor. It is a special place in a wonderful location and we had fabulous views from our balcony. The walk to Morcote took under 30 minutes with lovely views but you need to wear trainers as the path is uneven. We also enjoyed walking to the castle through the vineyards and exploring lake Lugano by bus and boat. We tended to get Uber taxi’s back up to to hotel as it was a steep climb ( cost 18CHF)

Overall, definitiv empfehlenswert.

Allerdings gibt es in fuss läufiger Umgebung keine Alternativen was einem bewusst seien sollte. Für 2 Nächte auf jedenfall eine Reise wert!
