Overall, I had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent — conveniently close to the train station, shops, and restaurants. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the staff were consistently warm, friendly, and helpful. The food was thoughtfully prepared and enjoyable throughout the stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I especially enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains and the lake.

This is a very old hotel, small rooms. Only two restaurants are open, and they were understaffed. Breakfast was very basic, but it was good. We had one dinner in the dining room and it was not worth the price. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Overall the property is good. Not sure the value proposition was met given the cost.. My room heating system failed so it was always too warm. I had to open the window. I reported the problem but was not offered another room. Room was not as nice as photos or the description. Views from the room were amazing. Ski related amenities are great. Location is perfect. Great breakfast buffet.

Aside from the hotel being beautiful and having an old, classic charm to it, our stay was made much more pleasant by Giulia at the front desk. She took such good care of us and really made the experience much better. She helped us find restaurants to visit and gave us many suggestions for things to do.
