One of the best hotels I stayed at during my vacation. Great location with easy access to buses and trams. The room was clean and spacious, even with several large suitcases. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at The Flag during the summer and had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel is clean, my room was spacious, and the amenities were quite complete for a city hotel. There’s no AC, only a fan to help with the summer heat, but I actually appreciated this as a more environmentally friendly approach. What made the stay truly memorable, however, was the kindness and patience of the staff, especially Maria. She helped me bravely remove a spider that somehow ended up in my room (possibly hitchhiked from my clothes after walking outside!). She spoke to me kindly and patiently, even though my English wasn’t very good, and she didn’t lose her calm even after I accidentally spilled Coca-Cola on the floor. … a lot happened during my stay, but Maria handled it all with grace and kindness. Thank you, Maria! Another staff member, a cool guy, also kindly helped refill my water bottle. I forgot to ask his name, but I hope you meet him when you visit. When you do, say hi to him :)

The property is well maintained, spacious room which included a sitting area, little kitchenette, small refrigerator with small freezer ( great plus to us), sink, a couple of plates, utensils, coffee maker with supplies, you can also make coffee in the lobby, very tasty, easy access to public transportation. The staff is extremely helpful, Mr. Unger in particular made feel welcomed and really provided us with helpful information. The young lady ( can’t remember the name) who signed us in on 7/19 was very patient, provided helpful information and extremely courteous. The only negative, no air conditioning during a heat wave of summer 2026.

The staff at the front desk very super helpful and kind . After traveling 10 hrs all you need is a clean room and good bed to sleep in . The room was basic but was had everything we needed . Had a cute balcony to let in some fresh air . Which was great . Overall the stay was good . Good to see happy people at the front desk as soon as you enter the hotel .
