Pros: Convenient location. Updated room. Cons: Loud restaurant on first floor. Bathroom did not have hand soap provided. A/C not working properly - could not lower temperature… so had to decide between blasting at 18 degree Celsius when outside was 17 degrees… or turn off

it's a very basic hotel. What we liked were the big rooms and good basic cleanliness. It is also very close to the Big City mall, which is probably the best and biggest in the Hsinchu area. What we didn't like: 1) one of our rooms had a persistent sewage smell. 2) No services at all... No concierge, nobody to help with luggage, nothing. 3) A/C to the whole building didn't work one night and into half the next day. 4) The lobby had this persistent kitchen odour from the in-house restaurant. 5) Gym has basically 1 working treadmill and nothing else. No pool or other facilities. It's a good option if you're looking for just a bed to spend the night.

Breakfast was good. Room looks out to shabby rooftops.

The hotel staff are friendly but not always helpful. Breakfast do not have vegetarian food or clearly indicated vegetarian food. Not vegan/ vegetarian friendly. Amenities wise is fine. There are convenient stores across the hotel and very near to the big city shopping mall.

The location is convenient and the frontdesk staffs are helpful. A good place to stay while traveling in Hsinchu for just a few days.

Pros: 1. Staff are responsive. The phone in my room wasn't working and they responded and rectified it for me quickly. 2. Free parking 3. Eateries and convenience stores nearby Cons: 1. Dont be fooled by the grand hotel lobby. The room is dated and lots of wear and tear could be seen in the furniture, furnishing and bathroom. 2. TV in the room is supposedly a smart TV but you cant connect to Youtube. Which may be a small issue for others but to me this is honestly the basic. Most channels are local TV news and variety channels. I stayed for 3 nights and didn't had any use for the TV. 3. The thing that bothered me the most is that there are no USB or universal ports on both sides of the bed. The ports are located at the desk area. I'm a seasoned traveller and to be honest, I haven't encounter this issue for the longest time. I spent 8 days in different parts of Taiwan and even the minsu/airbnb accommodation provided more advanced and modern amenities/facilities. Overall, i feel that the management didn't bother to update and upgrade the room amenities and this has resulted in poor customer experience. Personally, I will not choose this hotel again.The price they are charging doesn't match my expectations.

Staff are kind and professional. Everything looks great until stepping into the room. Excess wear and tear. Didn't live up to expectations.

The lobby cafe 13Bistro's food was convenient and taste good. And Big city is only a few minutes away, also hotel surounded by schools and parks,good for walking and shopping in the city center. Room was clean by politely changed. Recommend for others to stay.

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel location is absolutely convenient (walking distance) to tourist places around. But hotel is a bit old-fashioned and out-dated for me.

Overall stay in terms of room cleanliness and conditions is considered good and within walking distance to the largest mall in Hsinchu which make the search for good food pretty easy.

Good location and near Big City shopping mall, quiet and clean too. Breakfast is ok, but not many choices.
