This hotel met my needs perfectly. They checked me in very late after my late flight, no problem. They had limited English, but always found a way to understand my requests. The housekeeper was a delightful woman who always greeted me with a huge smile. The breakfasts were great. It was clean, comfortable and nice and cool. The location was ideal, and was really and close to the MRT and restaurants. I felt comfortable and safe staying there alone. Did my laundry in the coin machines on site. I would definitely stay there again. Good value for the money.

I liked the location of this hotel. It was near the MRT so I could easily get to the HSR (10 min trip). Also it is around a 10 min walk to Rui Feng Night Market which is probably my favorite night market in Taiwan. Great value for the price. There was an odd odor when I first got into the room but after the ac was on for a bit and I opened a window it went away. The rooms are a good size. I had a king bed (but really it was 2 small beds pushed together). The free breakfast isn't the best but it is a free breakfast and there are a few options (2 types of meat, cabbage, eggs, bread, and something else). These negatives I don't think are a big deal but may upset some people. I stayed here two separate times on my trip so I recommend checking it out.

I was quite surprised how different the room was this time. Last time, it was very spacious and nice at a much cheaper price as well. This time, no windows and very small. It was really disappointing to me as a returning customer.

The hotel is older but was inexpensive, for the price of a hostel I had my own bathroom with bathtub and 2 double le beds. Nothing glam but clean. However, the staff called me at 12:30 am and woke me up out of a dead sleep to ask me if I had booked 2 rooms or 1 (I had booked 1). It seemed extremely unprofessional to me that they would call me in the middle of the night unapologetically to ask me a question which could have waited for the morning. Also check in took a painful amount of time.

Unstable wifi and poor breakfast. Only small paper cups placed at mini bar. Bath room has no cup for tee blushing and only supplied two bath towels. No smaller towels including face towels.

The hotel request to leave or give them tip, though service fee was included in the hotel rate, also no gratuity tip custom in Taiwan.
At variance, hotel staffs and cleaning is not good much, not valuable to give them tip, I think.
The facilities and cleanliness are standard level in their cheap rate, but A/C cannot adjust temperature and wind strength, no fridge, no window.
The location are very good, near night market.

the photos showed on the website and the exact condition we experienced ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT!!!!! if the real condition is shown, i believe no one will want the room. the washroom is dirty, the room is damp and smelled bad... luckily we just stayed there for one night!

Hotel is average, standard double rooms are small with few facilities, eg, no kettle or fridge. No cleaning services unless reception were informed. Even then, limited cleaning, just change of towels. Must leave tips for better services. One of the room had a chemical or odd smell which refused to go away.

We got a very good price for a family room in which we could be accommodated comfortably with our three children. The free breakfast and free parking were big bonuses. The biggest downside was the ingrained smell of smoke. Also the towels could be a little fluffier, the windows could be clearer, a real coffee cup with breakfast would have been nice and there is a limited amount of control when using the air conditioning. The location in the northern part of Kaohsiung is excellent for shopping restaurants and pubs/bars. You can reach the subway easily. For value for money, for a short stay, it was excellent, but the facilities are basic and the clientele can be interesting.

Good: Breakfast was plentiful albeit Asian breakfast (savory). Hot water was provided near the elevators in the form of a fountain dispenser. Bathtub in room was nice.
Bad: Room smelled heavy of smoke, reception says they can't do anything because people don't abide by the non smoking rules. Air conditioner just blew smoke smell most likely due to dirty filters. Room was infested with cockroaches. We stayed 3 nights and killed exactly 9 cockroaches during our stay. Lights were kept on during the night to prevent cockroaches from crawling all over. Air conditioning was only on or off, no control of level or temperature.
