Royal Group Hotel Xiong Zhong Branch

The hotel is very well located. Less than 5 min of walk to kaohsiung station. A 7-11 and subway below the hotel, there are KFC, Mcdonald, Burger King, yoshinoya diagonal opposite the hotel. There are some shops selling local food right opposite the hotel. So location wise is 100%. The exterior of the hotel looks old, but the room is quite not bad. Free breakfast with porridge, rice, egg omelette, sausage, toast bread etc for guest. 1 thing not so good is along way from kaohsiung station to the hotel; there are a few homeless people stay there and many renovation going on. But this won't last long i suppose.

It is a cost effective option. The room is tidy. I took bus & railway in those days and was convenience.

Very assessable location to train station. The surrounding is a bit older but safe. Hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast is unbelievably good.

It's cool as all basic necessities covered with breakfast + 24hr snack in such affordable rate. Hotel was newly renovated and clean. Location was great. Absolute amazing stay for budgeted but comfortable stay :)

Great staff and free breakfast. Property condition is excellent except the have cover shower stall make the whole bathroom wet due to strong water pressure. The area is not the best but it’s close to the train and bus station. Overall, it’s a great property for the price

Aside from the size of the room which was very small with bed pushed to the side of the wall, everything else was excellent. Getting up and off the bed was hard for the person sleeping against the wall. In general, the hotel was very clean although there was an instance when the staff were chasing a rat out of the hotel on the ground floor. Room was newly renovated, toiletries (including facial wash, body lotion & conditioner) and 4 bottles of water provided each day. Room cleaning is done on request. You have to inform front desk each morning if you want to have your room cleaned that day by leaving your keycard there. Otherwise they will not enter your room. Breakfast was plentiful and there're snacks (pau, popcorn, biscuits and ice cream) & drinks available 24 hours a day. Breakfast room was very spacious. No need to wait for a table. We spent a lot of time here as the room was very small. Computers were available for use too. Kids usually parked themselves there playing games. Laundry room with free detergent provided. We had no problem getting our laundry done. Need not Q or wait. One negative thing is there's only 1 lift. So may need to wait a little. I will recommend this hotel as it is great value for money.

Overall hotel room is clean, convenient location with 7-11, family mart, fast food restaurant surrounding. Easy access to train station within 10mins walking distance.

The room I stay was located at 3rd floor last room, it was near to kitchen, noon time and night time was fine, however during morning when they prepare breakfast my whole room smell like as if I’m the kitchen, terrible and horrible morning! Avoid staying at the end and lower floor!

The location of this hotel is near public transportation less than 5mins. walk to metro and bus station, lots of nearby restaurants like Mcdonalds, 7-eleven and less than 15mins. walk to Liuhe night market and colourful Formosa boulevard station. We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights our room is clean, spacious, comfortable bed and pillows. We really enjoyed our buffet breakfast, free water bottle, snacks and juice at night.

Outstanding value. Very convenient to central station. Good breakfast. Not the quietest, but reasonable.

The staff is unfriendly and not professional. No greeting in the mornings or evenings from the reception when guests entering the hotel. The hotel claimed the booking platform has listed their rooms with incorrect pricing and requested me to pay extra. While it was finally settled, it was an very unpleasant experience. The hotel should have dealt with the booking platform instead of arguing with the customer for the price difference. Breakfast was okay but with limited western-style choices. Room is very small but with functional design. Very close to the train, MTR, and bus stations.

Convenient location, 5-min walk from the Kaohsiung Railway/Metro Station, 10 minutes away from Liuhe Night market by foot, the free buffet breakfast offers mainly Taiwanese style food, free soft drinks/coffee/ice creams/bite-size buns/local crackers are offered throughout the day. Dislike the fact there’s no curtain in shower, the whole bathroom floor becomes wet with water after showering, economy room size is small for one person, though room is for 2 with a double bed

很不錯的住宿經驗，物超所值，位置在高雄火車站附近，對街就是麥當勞、KFG等餐廳和商店，不遠處就是六合夜市 房間雖然不大，但是乾淨衛生，床鋪舒服，樓下隨時都供應熱包子和飲料，真的太佛心了，早餐也算豐富美味 唯一的缺點就是沒提供停車位置， 十分值得推薦
