Lake view room was great. Only downside not enough place to hang towels, clothes in bathroom. One towel rack was right beside the shower which makes everything wet. One rokm safe didnt work, but Overall we were happy with the say still.

Good location right on the lake and free bikes to use and the bike path is in front of the hotel. Our room has the lake view with a balcony, great view for sunset and sunrise. The room is spacious with a Japanese style sitting room that can be completely closed. The bathroom has an onsen style hot tub. The breakfast was average. Highly recommended

The hotel is a bit outdated and the carpet in the room smells, the breakfast has limited options. The location is a plus for this hotel since it’s close to the bicycle/walking trail. The price offered for Sun Moon Lake area is high compared to the value that it provided though

Great Lake views with space room for the family of 4. The breakfast buffet was also excellent! The offered free bikes to cycle around the lake. They also have lots of entertainments for kids. It’s definitely a good resort for family vacation.

Nice clean expensive hotel with beautiful lake view. Food is just ok, there is no gym as advertised just an eliptical machine and a weights machine in a small corner in the basement. We booked 4 nights 2 rooms. After the second night we left because it rained day and night without stopping so it was hard to do much outdoors. The management did not want to do any kind of refund. We understand the policy but there is not much you can do there after couple days of stay with bad weather. Most hotels would refund at least something.
