Kaibae Beach Resort

I enjoyed four nights in a bungalow on the front line of Kae Bae beach. The accommodation was very comfortable and it was such a pleasure to look directly out to the beach and water from the front door. And there was a lovely porch there to sit on and enjoy the scenery. In addition, the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The town area is just a 6-7 minute walk away, but a concierge was available to take me in a cart. Lots of dining and massage options in the town area. Overall, I had a great stay and will hope to return one day…

We took a beach villa, stunning views and at high tide about 10m from the sea, it was disappointing to have beach goers meters from our villa from 8am making noise and taking our privacy away but the beach, the view and the staff made up for it and we enjoyed our stay

Very clean. Good happy hour. The rooms were a bit outdated and the beds were pretty hard. No phone to be able to call the front desk so you had to run down. Our safe in the room was also broken.

While this hotel lacks the finer details of a 5* hotel, namely slippers, pens, iron or international tv, it is 5* in its own right! We booked a room on the beach front and waking up to the sea every morning was idilic. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast while small in selection was of good quality and sufficient. The bar/restaurant had a good menu and reasonably priced, it was wonderful at sunset. The staff were helpful and courteous. The beach is small and sandy and the nearby town is small, but there is a good selection of restaurants, bars and massage parlors. If you want a peaceful and relaxing holiday then you won’t be disappointed.

Enjoyed our stay. Resort is nice and well looked after.Rooms were clean. Close to the beach. Staff were very nice and helpful.Local area was good with some nice restaurants.

Almost everything about our stay was perfect. The beach is fabulous, staff excellent, pool was fun with the slippery dip and the room was impressive. My only down side is the wifi. It is real bad. Very poor throughput which they really need to fix (it has nothing to do with signal which was very good).

A good hotel in general, though the bathroom is slightly old. But the view from the 2 nd floor of the beachside hotel is wonderful. The bed is comfortable too. Room is a bit small but it is ok. U would spend most of your day outside rather than staying there. Would recommend it for anyone who wishes to stay away from the crowd and have some quite time with their loved One.

The people were all very friendly & helpful, the property was clean and well tended. The only disappointment was a lack of Evening hospitality on-site. The pool bar / café closed at 19:00.

Loved staying at this resort. I did not sunbath or buy drinks here though but just a few metres away at KB Resort. There is a lot of noise from construction

The place is so perfect that I even think to not write this review just to keep this secret. The staff place and everything around u in this special place is beyond words. Love it and plan to come back!

The Kai Bae Beach Resort is a mix of nice older cabins and new 'hotel room' units. It fronts on a well-tended beach. Another several-story building is almost complete. Noises from the island's main road don't intrude. Sundowns are outstanding. There's a nice but heavily chlorinated pool. We had no serious problems with bugs or other critters. The bed and wi-fi were both excellent in our unit. The bathroom, otherwise very nice, has only one dim ceiling light. Management should add a light over the sink that's suitable for daily grooming. During our stay, no one on the resort staff was reasonably fluent in English. Guests are not asked for feedback, either written or oral. Breakfast offerings at the hotel's restaurant are ample but undistinguished. We had lunch there once, and decided that for ambiance and taste, we preferred the restaurant at the adjacent, only slightly more expensive K.B. Resort.

Enjoyed the easy beach access and the elephants that came to bathe. The hotel has a great bar and excellent breakfast.

The room was new and clean, facing with the sea. Unfortunately the restaurant and beaches went quiet after 10pm. Overall it was a relaxing stay for us. Definitely will stay again.

Great place in a great location. Stayed five nights. Quiet for the most part. Decent breakfast. Ate lunches and dinners in town, so can't speak of restaurant other than breakfast. Nice pool. Great sunsets. Never had any problems with wifi. Would return and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I initially booked 2 nights here planning to find somewhere nearby the was cheaper but I decided that I would stay here for the remaining 8 days. The room is very clean and cleaned every day with new towels by very friendly staff. The buffet breakfast is extensive and I make the mosts of it and skip lunch. Reception very helpful.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel in the new hotel building. Loved sitting on the pod chair on the balcony looking out to sea! Be aware some views from hotel building might be limited with restaurant and other beachside villas in front but I had a good view from top floor. Was happy with the breakfast, restaurant is delightful, right beside the beach so great views. Had dinner here too which was very nice. Beach is quite small at high tide but hotel is set at the nicest part, and on the nicest beach of 3 different ones I visited on the island. Good spot, quiet location, not too far to walk into the village of Kai Bae. They were doing some building at the time, right on the beachfront, not sure exactly what but it meant there was some construction noise. It didn't really bother me but might be an issue for some of the bungalow villas right now.
