I had surgery and specifically requested a non smoking room prior to check in. Upon arriving to my room, it smelt like cigarette - so the front desk accommodated a room change. The second room also smelt heavily of smoke, and upon requesting for the third time a non-smoking room, I was told the best they can do is to “spray the carpet”. Due to complications second hand smoke can have on bleeding and other surgical risks, I couldn’t even stay my first night. I had to check out within a few hours and the hotel is refusing to provide a refund, even though it was for legitimate medical reasons. They are saying I “refused” a room change, however, it would’ve been my third time changing rooms. At that point is what made clear, no matter which room they put me in, it’s simply not a smoke free hotel, and a “non smoking room” was wrongfully advertised. I am now out $400 and they refuse to refund me.

Should be some water in the room.

The airport is not 15 minutes away as shown it’s about 30 minutes overall hotel is ok .

Reception was not accommodating to our needs. Had an overnight flight and asked for early check in 2 days in advance only to be left in lobby to sleep on the couch until 2 PM. Paining is taped to the wall, View is concrete of building next to hotel. Fridge was not working. Overall very basic service and experience. I’m not going there again.

Great Boutique Hotel

Probably the dirtiest and least maintained hotel I had the displeasure of staying at. Ngl the bed was comfy but what a disappointment of a room.

Room was very cold, sofa was very dirty. Lots of noise from the floor in the middle of the night.

Personally I do not recommend this hotel if anyone suffering from breathing because the carpets were terrible and disgustingly dirty every night I would have to wake up to a dry mouth constantly coughing. The water temperature when using the shower was terrible it would either be tooo cold or too hot. We complained about the room and if we could change it the staff didn’t help at all and just said the hotels fully booked which wasn’t true they just refused to help us out as we did spend 9 days at the hotel. The bedding wasn’t too bad but overall the hotel needs a renovation as there was so many damage on the walls. The rooms are very small not spacious enough

I stayed for 2 weeks and loved it. Bus stop is just outside and metro is not far away. Supermarket next door. Lovely staff. Will stay again

The reception looks amazing, the carpets are extremelyyyyyy dirty! Everything inch of that floor is super super dirt which is very disappointing. The hotel has great potential to better, they just need to clean it.

It is a massive inconvenience that i cannot share pictures of our experience at Cityloft81. Where to start, on entering the reception you are feeling confident in your choice of hotel, that is where it ends. Going through into the hallways to the lifts and rooms you are greeted this countless stains and grubby marks on the wall. The elevator that the panel hanging off and on getting in it powered down briefly. There is a reason this hotel is so dark, hiding the sorry state of the hotel after what seems years of no reinvestment in maintenance. The room, tired, shabby and a lack of thourough cleaning over a long period had left it in a rather misserable state. The blacked out ceiling was broken black woodchip board. The cabinets were chipped and wonky. The bathroom had grime all around the corners and egdges of the shower area. The room in no way reflects the pictures that are shown on any booking platform. The worst was yet to come when noticing there were MUSHROOMS growing in the room. Under the bedside cabinet and in the corners of the skirten boards. As well as this they had naked wirring within the bathroom ceiling. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone it was a massive downer at the end of what was a beautiful trip to Turkey. Management need to address the cleanliness and safety of this hotel.
