We returned to our room at 11:05 the day of check out and the housekeeping had all our stuff rummaged theough, theown out, it appeared as the housekeeping lady was going to keep my suitcase and my tote bag as it was stuffed inthe back of her cleaning cart. When approacing the Manager Ed he was all irritated as if it was my fault his crew wiped out my room. They stile my sorite, milk and hard salami. He did NOTHING to compensate. Th3n we headed home got 2 hours away and noticed they had my tennis shoes. Had they left their hamds out of my stuff it wouldnt have happened. S9 we had to stay another night in Charleston and I missed a day of work. I am a nurse and they need me at work. Unfortunately Shem Crek will kot be reciewed

The hot breakfast was appreciated though items were not always available. The young lady looking after the buffet was too busy in the kitchen in her cell phone. She didn’t pay enough attention to the buffet items. We even ran out of coffee and had to get her to respond.

All in all a good property. Bathroom needs update. Wallpaper coming off the wall. Toilet seat was old and scratched. For some reason the toilet was extremely low. Strange!

Property is showing its age. Old worn furniture, broken desk chair, torn lampshade, water damage to bathroom wall and door. In the common areas all paint surfaces are scratched. Breakfast barely qualifies as a hot breakfast. Minimal choices. Hot food always running out.

Hotel is old, not very clean. Needs a remodel badly. Tub had black mold and carpets were worn and stained. Breakfast was just ok. Parking was good. One of the outside doors was broken the whole weekend we were there and the shower literally takes 10 minutes to get warm water

The property was nice with several casual restaurants easily walked to. The staff was friendly and a decent hot breakfast was available. The gym was sufficient and very clean. The less desirable aspects were the lack of hot water and the quality of the toilet paper. At check in, we were told to let the water run 5-7 minutes to get hot. After that amount of time, it was warm. By the time my husband finished his shower, it had been 12 minutes and the water never got beyond warm.

Room had bugs in bathroom and in main part of room. When i informed the front desk lady at check out she just said”ok”’ and acted like she did not care. We have been staying here for over 2 yrs as my we are I. Charleston for medical reasons every few months and since new management the place has went downhill fast. Also the entire 2nd floor smelled like weed. Needless to say we will not be back and that is so disappointing for me as it was once a great place to stay.
