My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O. otherwise its a trip to Cardigan. There is so much culture in the way of waterfalls, castles, forts and prehistory locally. This kept us and the dog occupied. Seek advice for places to eat locally in the evening, nice places within 10-15 miles. Will defiantly return for regeneration.

Can’t fault any part of our stay, the house was perfect 5 adults and one three year old. Lots of space, down stairs bedroom with ensuite was perfect for great grandparents. Outside area was nice in the morning to sit with a coffee, lots of green space for little one to run and explore. Kitchen had everything and a lovely welcome gift. Five mins drive to local shop for fresh bread. Fifteen mins drive to larger shop with huge selection of local foods. Half hour to small national trust beach Mwnt, a few steps down but great for seal spotting. Lots and lots of places to visit locally within a five minute drive and further afield. Coast line is amazing some areas look like they’ve popped out of the goonies movie. Our host were lovely and very welcoming, beautiful location and well kept property. Highly recommended

We stayed in the parlour for 4 days. It’s in a beautiful setting surrounded by rolling hills and countryside. Cottage was cozy and well equipped with everything we could ever need. We would definitely stay again! The photos used do not do it justice - it is truly lovely! The only feedback I could possibly give the owners is - a few more DVDs wouldn’t hurt to have choice from, as quite a few are damaged / missing the disc :-)

Absolutely lovely couple of nights at The Parlour. In the middle of storm Arwen, the cottage offered a warm cosy place to stay for me and my dog. Only 20 minutes from the beach and close to other places of interest, it was a great base for our visit. Hope to return!

We had such a wonderful stay at Werndoffyn! Kate was lovely, we stayed in the dairy cottage and it was beautiful! So well equipped had literally everything you could need! We didn’t even use the upstairs as there was just the two of us & our dog. Well located for beaches, walks and tourist attractions and lots of info on days out, places to eat etc in the cottage. Very dog friendly and so cosy! We would not hesitate to stay here again & will be recommending it to all our friends & family!
