The cable car was stopped working, tourists had to take a boat back to the mainland. My family and I had to queue from 8pm until after midnight to get to the boat dock. Thousands of people jostled and pushed each other, children cried, the elderly were tired, some fainted for 3-4 hours stuck in the crowd. The management was too weak, not mobilizing enough forces to calm and maintain order for the crowd, causing people to jostle each other, even arguing and fighting. Thousands of people waited for the boat back to the mainland but only a few boats were operating, the management had no contingency plan in case of a cable car incident. A very bad experience that my family and I will never want to experience again.
