Complaint Regarding Unsatisfactory Tour and Inadequate Treatment - Request for Resolution
Dear Team,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the tour organized by go explorer indonesia specifically with the company "Khatulistiwa Adventure." I recently participated in a tour through your service, and I would like to bring to your attention several issues we encountered during our experience.
1. Disorganization and Ineffective Communication: Upon arrival at the port, the person we were instructed to contact was not there. After several phone calls, it was confirmed that they were present, but there was no clear coordination or communication. Furthermore, we were asked to arrive at 6 AM for a departure at 8 AM, which was an unreasonable and disruptive schedule.
2. Inadequate Accommodation: We were assigned a room that was far too small for three people, even though we had booked for this number. We were told that the room could accommodate up to 4 people, but the situation was cramped and uncomfortable. When we requested an additional room, we were told it would cost 600,000 rupiah, an exorbitant amount given the quality of the accommodation. We decided not to accept this offer, but the overall experience was unsatisfactory.
3. Rude Treatment and Inadequate Staff Behavior: The manager, Navyk, was very aggressive with us, insisting that we either pay for an extra room or allow an unknown person to share our room with us. This behavior was completely unacceptable, especially since it was unclear whether the third person would even arrive.
4. Unorganized Activities and Lack of Communication: The next day, we were not contacted for the sunrise activity, and rain prevented us from participating in the island hopping tour. Despite the rain stopping at 11 AM, we received no official updates from Pahroji. Only after several messages from me did we learn that the pick-up was scheduled for 1 PM, with the boat departing at 2 PM. We are still unclear as to why the island hopping was not conducted earlier when the weather had improved.

5. Poor Quality of Service Relative to the Price: For 1,100,000 rupiah, the 3-hour tour was of very poor quality. The lack of organization, poor communication, and overall subpar services do not justify the high price. We were the only group on this tour, which suggests a lack of interest in providing quality service and caring for the customers.
As a travel agent with over 30 years of experience, I can confidently say that this was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I have ever had. Not only was the treatment inadequate, but the overall quality of the tour did not meet expectations in any way.
I believe that this company is unsuitable for future collaborations, and I hope that will take appropriate action to prevent other customers from facing a similar situation.
