The staff and our room was great, but getting to it required using the one working North elevator, whose doors close really fast, and which stop only when they hit, hard, on your body, on a stroller. We saw multiple people get hit, one old fellow dropping everything from the impact. Hope it gets fixed soon.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It's right on the boardwalk with easy access to all of the restaurants, shops and tours available at the Halifax waterfront. Check in and housekeeping were fine. The common areas could use attention - a little more vacuuming, window cleaning, a second working elevator. The restaurant food was good.

This is a great location however the hotel is probably due for an update. Beds were comfortable room was generally clean however hallways were dirty elevator smelled like urine for some reason…

Location was perfect. We did not eat there or use the pool etc. But it is a new hotel right on the waterfront. The staff was great.

This Marriott, although very clean and well kept, clearly shows its age. As a waterfront property we would have expected a view of the water but these are few and must be reserved well in advance. The hotel is right in the boardwalk and so the access to all of the waterfront activities is very convenient. The breakfast was excellent.

Nice location. Very expensive. Must be Bonvoy member to access wifi and signing up after checking in doesn't work. No room service menu, instead a QR code sticker on the desk for a third party website requiring sign up with personal details to order. Might expect this poor service at a cheap hotel. For $1000/night it's a very bad joke.
