Great location on main street where the iconic landmarks are. The lobby is well equipped with water, coffee, tea. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean, large, comfortable.

Modern hotel near the cruise terminal. Rooms not large but clean and functional. Excellent buffet breakfast. A 2-minute walk to Bryggen, but too far from the railway station to walk, especially with luggage, we used a taxi.

Small, but it’s Europe. People were super friendly and it was clean. To turn on electricity in room, stick in your hotel key first on the wall!

Thon Orion is located right in heart of city which is great if you have a short stay. Transport is right outside hotel. Hotel is 5 minute walk from Bryygen and 10 minutes from fish market where most tours start. Staff were friendly and assist when asked.

Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast - probably the best hotel breakfast buffet I have ever had. The hotel was great about letting us leave our luggage both before and after checking in and out of our room. Finally it was the perfect spot to stay from which to catch our cruise ship.
