Great location for walking tours and cruise departures. Excellent breakfast.

Great hotel with an excellent location. The room was very clean, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The shower had stable hot water and great water pressure. Overall, a very comfortable stay, and I would happily stay here again.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was more than adequate for a short two night stay. The room was clean. The included breakfast was fantastic offering Great selection and plenty of seating. It's easy to walk to the fish market, restaurants and touristy shops from the hotel. If you joining a cruise ship ita short flat walk from Thon Orion to the terminal.

When we were in Bergen, there was a hospitality strike going on. As a result, the hotel service was impacted. Breakfast options kept shrinking the 3 days we were there; coffee machine maintenance at times was behind, checkin line was long. Other than that the stay was very enjoyable. Location was great. Rooms were charming.

The room was very dark w very little lights. Our shower didn’t have a door despite a door frame being there. This made the bathroom very wet and unsafe as it was slippery. The rooms are small as well.

The hotel is perfectly placed, and just a short stroll from the historic Bryggen Wharf, and nearby shops and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent with so much to choose from. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was available at the hotel although came at a cost. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here if visiting Bergen.

Excellent breakfast buffet with helpful staff who made you feel welcomed. Room was quiet and clean - bed comfortable. Appreciated the noon check out.

Room was cleaned, very helpful staff at reception. Breakfast was very good specially the scrambled eggs! Good location, 10min walking to the fish market. I will recommend it.

Room size is good and sofa sitting place and work table was useful. Bathroom and the shower was very good. Can improve on the breakfast.

This hotel is very well located right next to the Bergenhus Fortress and across from the wharf. Everything is within a very short distance and easily walkable. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of options. Most importantly, the staff is very informed, welcoming and helpful. Mathallen is also within walking distance and we personally favored Fish Me over Fjellskal.

Fantastic location to walk around town and get on our Viking Cruise ship. Great breakfast included, something for everyone. Off the main road enough for no traffic or crowd noise

Close to the old town Bryggen, we enjoyed that!

Breakfasts were awesome. Lots of choices. Sajeda was such an enjoyable employee. She checked us in, sold us a glass of wine, changed a light bulb, put out fresh coffee cups and took away the dirty. She was working hard--all while smiling. (during the strike).

The accommodation was excellent and spotless. The staff were very welcoming, pleasant and helpful during our stay. The breakfast was excellent. We had one problem during our stay in that our room door lock broke and due to the current strike in Norway we couldnt get in our room for several hours. We were given another room to rest while this was sorted and staff did everything to help us during that period. I would definitely recommend the hotel to future travellers. The hotel is next to the Fort. Google maps was not helpful in finding the hotel. Go past the Bryggen. Stay on the path with the water on your lefthand side
