The hotel is in need of a serious upgrade. The hot tub wasn't working, the restaurant was not open in the evening, the breakfast was extremely minimal. Carpets are crumpled and thread bare - it feels tired and needs upkeep. I will find a different hotel next time we stay in Red Deer, and would not recommend this one.

Overall, this hotel is good value. The location and grounds are great, and I was pleased to find the room very clean upon arrival. The staff members were all incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast provided was a solid start to the day. That being said, the property is definitely showing its age. Our room had broken closet door handles and sink stoppers that didn't work. We called maintenance about the sinks, and while I appreciate that they sent someone up very quickly, the "fix" was simply removing the stoppers completely. Ultimately, this is a good place to stay with excellent staff and clean rooms, as long as you go in knowing the facilities are on the older side.

We booked 2 separate rooms, but both rooms' microwaves didnt work (we asked for one room to be fixed and they replaced it), the hot filtered water on the floor by the ice machine didnt work. The bedding/linen had stains and ripped spots. The AC wasn't very strong even on the lowest setting. The showers water pressure isn't great and the ventilation in the bathroom is really low. 2 friends who went to the pool (rooms advise there are pool towels) had to wait about 15 min to find someone to ask for towels (pool section was completely out), took about 20 min before they got any.

Breakfast was limited and ham had a green hue to the outside edges plus the equipment was broken. Bed was comfy but pillows were like sandbags 😩 but dinner in the lounge was very good

Had nothing but issues as soon as I got to the hotel I found there was no hot water in my room. They moved me to another room where it turns out same problem. Went down to the hot tub even that was cold since it is run off the same pump. I was told it would be fixed the following day which it was not so they moved me again to finally have hot water. Then after talking to the most unprofessional manager I have ever met I was told I would get a discount on check out day. Come check out day there was no discount as promised so they called the same manager to which she offered 10$ off each of the two nights which I found to be unacceptable especially after she said it would be taken care of. In the end I got 20$ off each of the two nights. Would not stay here again.

Our stay started good. Until we found some bedbugs. We told the front desk and showed them the picture of bugs. They just gave us an email address to contact, and nobody even reach out to us eversince. The breakfast seem not enough to the number of guest they have.

Overall we liked hotel and amenities. Staff were friendly. The sofa bed mattress was terrible, but the king bed was comfortable and rooms nice and quiet. Food in lounge was sub par. Breakfast was good.

Room was filthy / stained. Smelt like sewage. Leaks from the roof landed in my wife’s eye and the staff was less than helpful / did not seem concerned. Great location and the hotel has potential, but it’s ran terribly therefore it is suffering immensely. Management needs to care more about properly training staff and maintaining the building. No staff could locate a medical kit in the building as well.

The room was very comfortable- maybe starting to show some age and wear. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Wooden cutlery - tell me it isn’t so - I think we can move to plastic cutlery at least. The selection of hot food was good. The muffins were terrible- I’m not even sure how to describe them! And no selection for that type of food. Carrot cake is not breakfast food. I think there’s plenty of room for improvement.

The room was found to be exceptionally clean. Additionally, the staff was very polite and helpful. It was noted that the beverage machine was unfortunately out of order. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience was quite pleasant. We appreciate your attention to these details.

It is a central location for local things, stores, shops, food. The downside is according to front desk their systems dont talk with Expedia, they lost your reservation because it was booked 3rd party, they tried giving us the wrong room, the carpets in the halls are a tripping hazards, no access to the gym, the jacuzzi in the room didn't hold water and after use would turn on by it's self. The breakfast was ok and buffet style.the elevators were broken.the AC was super loud in the room, could hear water constantly running in the bathroom. Out door looks like it had been kick in a few times
