No hot water.... cold shower and cold wash, was not inclined to have breakfast thereafter. A basic response from receptionist re hot water, with no offer to compensate, left the hotel feeling unwelcomed and poor customer service For such a prestigious hotel, we expected a better experience. We won't be returning here. Poor

Beautiful hotel - very well maintained. Gorgeous sitting areas in the lobby. Cozy bar. So much charm! Lovely area, walkable to all the best of Hamburg. Staff was very accommodating.

The hotel is beautiful and it's right beside the lake, short walk to the small lake and the main shopping area. There's a street opposite the train station that feels a little unsettling but we soon discovered other routes to avoid it. Would definitely recommend this hotel as they seem to have thought of everything.
