This was a very pleasant stay with one exception, but first the good stuff. Extremely clean, newly renovated room with fridge, microwave, k-cup type coffee maker, comfy bed, quiet aircon/heat. A laundry room is available, as are vending machines. Friendly and efficient desk and house-keeping staff. Now for the not-so-good stuff. The breakfast room, located in the basement, is well-stocked and clean, but small for the size of the hotel. The bad part is the quality of the food provided and specifically, the steam table items. The scrambled eggs were the type that pour out of a container and into shaped cups, and had little flavour. The sausages were very dry and had an odd flavour and texture. Finally, there were these other things and I honestly don't know what they were - they looked like they might be potato patties but they were chewy and the flavour was indestinguishable. I ended up having packaged boiled eggs from the fridge and a bagel for the rest of my stay.

Room spotless. Staff were welcoming and most accommodating for requests. I was impressed. Areas of improvement - try to do away with the throwaway utentsils and dishes for breakfast.

Room was exceptionally clean, need was comfortable and staff were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast offerings were just ok, sausages were overcooked and dry.

Room was nice amd clean. Didnt like the see through blind on a first floor room, it let lots of light from the parking lot in. Should have a black out blind here. Breakfast doesnt come out til 7am, I was gone long before that. Overall good experience.

Sure had a great experience at the WelcomInn in Ottawa , room was extremely clean, up to date furnishings. Was greeted by a very kind and courteous staff member who informed us of the whereabouts of the hotel. Also, informed us where to find close by restaurants. Was quite surprised to see breakfast the next morning. Overall experience was great.

I was able to check in early, the room was clean except the one garbage had not been emptied....with very personal items from previous people....breakfast was decent.

The hotel was clean, they took care of my room on a regular basis as I stayed there for 5 day's and nights. The "fitness" room is very small and limited in equipment.

Clean facilities and room. Keurig coffee which was nice. Mini fridge. Spacious room. Weird dim sconce lighting in our bathroom. Needs brighter bulbs. I don’t know if all bathrooms are like that. Fine for a guy maybe but tough to see for Make up application. Super comfortable beds and pillows and warm cozy duvet. Would definitely stay again. Convenient to get to Ottawa hospital general campus for an early morning appt
