Had a bit of a smell an certain spot's other then that I have no complaints

Room was clean. Was a bit worried about the contents of our car overnight based on a comment at check in, but it was ok. Nice to have a restaurant available for supper. Was quite busy when we were there (weekend) but had a quiet sleep.

The staff and management are wonderful. We never had any issues at all and will stay here again. My husband needed heart surgery in Toronto On, this in it self was overwhelming. The management gave us two weeks of free parking and shuttled us to the hotel. Unfortunately, my husband had a couple complications, and we had to stay in Toronto for a total of 3 weeks. I came to pick up our car, i had my credit card ready to pay for the extra week. The manager said not to worry about paying that extra week. I recommend the Valhalla to everyone. We had a connecting door and we could hear everything in the next room. They had a little kid who had a nightmare and it was like they were in our room. It was fine for us but if you need quiet ask for a room that does not connect

Very nice and clean hotel. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Skal Restaurant is quite and nice. This hotel have an airport shuttle which runs every 15 min. The check out time is 11 am but when i asked then they offered me untill 1 pm which was really helpful. The hotel is just minutes away from the ThunderBay airport and walking distance to walmart and some eateries which is nice. Thanks to all the staff who made my stay so nice.

Lack of setting for rooms with 2 beds parking lots rough a pot holes in parking area. Tubs aren’t checked for stoppers not much mingling with hotel staff

We stayed on our way thru to Kenora and on our way back. Fantastic staff. Dined in again and it was great food and service. Rooms are nicely appointed and clean.

Check in was quick. Bed was very comfortable. We were a little hesitant about dining in after reading reviews but we were impressed with the food and the excellent service.

I wasn’t given any information on check in regarding on site services like lounge or breakfast, nor was I given any information on how to access wifi. The clerk mentioned I had booked through Expedia and I believe because of that I was given a sub standard room. There were no lamps, and only tiny night lights beside the beds. There was no arm chair or love seat to sit on, only a chair at a desk with no phone outlet to charge my phone. There was no clock in the room either. This is just a guess but I think those guests deemed as “less than” are given less than desirable rooms. Booking through Expedia shouldn’t make a difference in how I am treated as a guest.

We enjoyed our stay at Valhalla hotel! Not only the hotel was great, but the staff was very friendly and informative. Being close to the airport and offering free shuttle and park 'n fly as an amenity was definitely one of the highlights! We recommend staying here!

Room was spacious & had clean sheets plus the staff both in restaurant & hotel lobby was friendly, I had a good overnight stay and definitely will rebook with Valhalla again
