A very strange 5-star hotel experience... Their main restaurant was closed on Monday, and the only other place to eat was the hotel bar. I asked the staff to book a massage for me, but they simply pointed me to a QR code, which didn’t work. There seemed to be no other way to book, such as calling the spa directly. When I eventually went downstairs to the spa to ask how to book, they gave me a completely different website. It also turned out that the spa is run by a separate company and is not actually part of the hotel. The spa facilities themselves are tiny and crowded. There also didn’t seem to be enough staff at reception, as there was almost always a queue. Another thing to be aware of is that around half of the rooms face the inner courtyard, which is quite dark. We had one of those rooms, and it felt dark inside pretty much all day. The hotel itself is beautiful, though, which makes all of the above even more disappointing for a 5-star property.

Todo estuvo espectacular. Mi unica queja es que el aire acondicionado en la habitación nunca enfría, solo refeesca un poco. Muy difícil para dormir.

The hotel itself is really pretty, and the location is absolutely amazing. The breakfast is absolutely superior and definitely worth the extra few dollars. The only downside here was that the rooms are very dark. Even with my blinds completely open, it was still kind of hard to see inside and had like a depressing vibe. But ultimately, everything else about the hotel was pretty dope.

Disappointing Pros: Great lobby Excellent location. Good breakfast Cons: Check-in: Early to arrive we were grateful to leave our bags. We were told "good news, your booked Junior Suite with a view should be ready by 2pm, earlier than expected" Returned at 2, told to come back at 3. Exhausted from flights & our walk after dropping our bags, we opted to wait in the hotel lobby. At 3 on the dot, we went to checkin and saw a number of people had already been checked in and were getting bag assistance to their rooms. By the time someone checked us in a Junior suite with a view was no longer available and no-one was available to assist us with bags .Our room was >200 steps from the elevator with a carpeted corridor impossible to roll cases on. Not a good start for an already exhausted couple in their seventies with 2 large and 2 carryon Our room looked out onto a wire fenced vacant lot of overgrown weeds. Called reception re distance to elevator and no view and was told no other Junior Suite was available, as it had been a very busy Friday check-in afternoon and those with a view were taken earlier ahead of our check-in. Housekeeping: A dirty plate with chocolate sauce and crushed nut decoration remained uncleared for the duration of our 3 night stay. Comfort: The suite has a sitting area, but the sofa/fold out bed used prior to our arrival would not fully fold back together. The seat kept falling away at the front. It was impossible to sit on. Very disappointing

The best part of this hotel is the location. It’s right beside the Berlin Cathedral, and a short walking distance to the other main sights. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. My only issue was a plumbing problem. When I flush the toilet or the person in the room above me flushes, the pipes or toilet or something in the bathroom would make an odd, loud, whiney sound. It woke me up one night. I didn’t inform the hotel because I was only there 2 nights and didn’t want to move rooms. However, I did make note of it when I checked out and the girl graciously gave me 10% off my bill. My friend was staying in the adjoining room next to me and had asked for the door to be unlocked but it didn’t happen.

Very clean property and the lobby is impressive. A few tips to get the most out of your stay. 1. They won’t clean your room just becuase you’ve left and there isn’t a door sign to indicate anything to housekeeping. You need to ring down each time you want the room serviced otherwise it won’t be done 2. At breakfast, you can ask the dining staff for an omelette or fried egg and they’ll it fresh for you. These aren’t out in the buffet area and there aren’t any signs to indicate you can ask (and the waiters don’t ask you either). It’s included as part of your breakfast so just ask if you want specific type of eggs. 3. Children are allowed in the sauna and people are meant to keep their clothes on (there are signs for this). But the two times I went with my kids, there were people in the nude sat in the sauna so perhaps check before taking little ones.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel's location is excellent—right in central Berlin and close to many major attractions. The breakfast was excellent, and I enjoyed it every morning. The breakfast room is very spacious, with beautiful and comfortable tables that create a pleasant dining atmosphere. I gave four stars instead of five mainly because of the bathroom. There is no walk-in shower, and guests must step over a high bathtub. Only half of the bathtub has a glass partition, so water splashes onto the bathroom floor. There are also no shelves or hooks for toiletries, clothes, or personal belongings. The trash bins in both the bathroom and under the desk are too small, don't provide enough space for even one day's worth of trash. There were also a few housekeeping issues. A bath mat was not provided, so we had to use a bath towel to dry our feet. An empty glass water bottle that we had placed beside the bathroom trash bin was not removed. We did not realize that empty glass bottles were supposed to be placed in the three-compartment recycling bin under the desk, with separate compartments for glass, plastic, and other waste. My husband received a new bottle of water, but no new bottle was provided on my side because the bottle I had been drinking from still contained a small amount of water. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay overall. The excellent location and breakfast were major advantages.

Excellent location, breakfast and FOH staff. Our disabled room seemed to lack heated towel rail ? and the cleaner was a little lax. But would definitely recommend.

Starting with praise of Daria at the front desk for her warmth and helpfulness. The hotel was very clean and the staff attentive - when I asked for extra hangers they were delivered in five minutes. Bar area and computer are both comfortable. Only thing keeping from a five-star is the room itself - though roomy and clean lacks any charm.

Beautiful bar, great space in the rooms, very clean, but I had to ask multiple times for toilet paper for our room and so did my mother in law who was traveling with us. Great location as well. We would return if the hospitality staff could get it together.

The location of this hotel is excellent. We loved the room with a small balcony. A small complain. our keys didn’t work because I was told the city taxes were not paid at the time of checking in. Of course it was paid otherwise you don’t get a key. They have a very slow hardware so the computer took us about 15 minutes to check us in. Staff was very pleasent and embarked for why the computer was so slow.

Perfect location, central to everything you wanna visit and quick car rides to other surrounding neighborhoods. Nice pool + sauna vibe and fresh fruits provided. Hotel bar/ restaurant was cool and reasonably priced. 10/10 will stay here again, the ac in our room kinda sucked but oh well- everything else was great. Also would try to get a city view rather than atrium it’s a little muggy.
