Extremely clean and beautifully maintained hotel in keeping with historic Florence. Excellent breakfast and happy hour in the bar. Housekeeping especially impressive.

The breakfast was top notch! The following staff will make your welcome an amazing experience; Pietro, Sandro, Gaia (front desk) were professional and patient with us asking a million questions. The dining room staff; Luca, Agnese, Orlando, Sabrina and Roshi were just amazing. Their professionalism and kindness were superb. The staff at Hotel De La Ville were the best I have come across in all my travels. We will leave with fond memories.

Beautiful hotel. Location was wonderful. Breakfast was really good, but repetitive. Shout out to Luca. He was an amazing employee. We first met him at the bar in the evening and then the next moryhed working in the breakfast room. Extremely friendly and likable. He will go out of his way to make your stay unforgettable. You won’t make a mistake if you stay here.

Staff was very nice, location e Is great!! WiFi-inconsistent Noisy, heard toilets flushing, people walking above us. Liked the furniture, but carpets etc did not feel clean. Did not get free robes to use- 5 Euro - but hot new slippers nightly-suggestion, I set of slippers and a robe. No hair conditioner. Shower half glass door resulted in water on the floor. No fan in the bathroom/windows got and stayed steamed up. Slippery tub -significant slip/fall risk

The location was great. The room was good. The AC was good. The breakfast was mediocre. It was included and convenient.

The hotel was immaculate and the reception staff were polite, efficient and able to help advise us when we had any queries. the room was spotless and our stay at the hotel was great. Only one member of staff let the whole team down. At breakfast, the female staff member was very dismissive of us and others.

Both the hotel and staff were excellent. Location was also superb, in the middle of all the Florence sites with easy walking everywhere.

Perfect stay, perfect location

Breakfast was amazing. The servers for the breakfast were very kind. The Hotel itself is placed at the best possible location and very close to Duomo. Room was reasonably large. Only downside was there was no view from the room that we got. Other than that a perfect experience!

Location-5 star! Walking distance to all the need-to-sights in Florence! Breakfast also 5-star! They even prepared box breakfasts for our early departure! Cleaning of room done 2X a day with replenished amenities! (But body lotion in sachet just enough for your hands! Why so stingy with body lotion?)) Room thermostat was old, we could not control temp so we just turned it off most of the time. Overall, i would recommend staying here.

A standout Florence experience — 5 stars Our stay at Hotel de la Ville was nothing short of superb. A complimentary room upgrade welcomed us on arrival, and from that point on the service was impeccable—thoughtful, attentive, and consistently high‑quality. Its central location places the best of Florence at your doorstep, yet the hotel maintains a serene, luxurious atmosphere. We cannot recommend this property enough and look forward to returning on our next visit to the city.
